All I need to know is if the ssd will break. When you say reinstall everything, do you mean the drive will be wiped?

Just finished my new system and I was planning on just putting my laptop ssd into the desktop. but, after doing some research, apparently there are bad things that could happen if I do so such as deactivation. The laptop's hardware is pretty old like 3rd gen processor and a gt series gpu, but the ssd I put in myself to replace the older, slower hard drive. Does anyone know how I could do a transfer if possible and would I be able to keep all games and files on my ssd when I use it on my desktop. Thanks!

I'd get those cpus, but my budget is 200$. I've already tried putting together a cheaper verison of what you reccomend, but it won't hit a price point below 250$. I recently posted on forums that I had bought a gtx 1060 for 60 bucks and my budget for the rest of my pc is 200 bucks. Some of the replies mentioned that the Intel Xeon E5-2670 is a great high performance cpu that can take lots of ram. I'm pretty new to this type of stuff so I have no idea what I am doing and what types of things I should be buying to support the cpu and graphics card. Another thing I am worried about is if the system that I build with these older components can run modern day games with or if there would be issues. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
