sabre350Z got a reaction from Ben17 in Help! Keyboard malfunction
Hi, so i'm asking for a buddy of mine, trying to help him solve his problem.
So he has a Razer Keyboard and he never had any problem till he upgraded his pc.
so about 2 or 3 weeks ago i helped him (via internet and chat for social distancing) choosing and ordering parts for a new pc.
now ever since he tried gaming on the new pc, he noticed that when he taped shift, the next keystrokes would not register sometimes.
so his new pc is build with:
    Asus Strix Z390-F gaming
    Intel 9700k
i don't think that other parts would be worth mentioning because i think they would not matter for this problem
he already reinstalled synapse and checked updates en using other USB ports on the pc but it still persists to happen

could it be software, of just a dirty keyboard or could the keyboard just be broken?
he never had this problem till he switched to his new pc

Its the first build i did and its almost a year old now.
Budget wasn't really a problem, i wanted to build something nice and clean and looks like i wanted.
Comments are welcome but i'm a bit of an Asus fanboy, i like teh Asus design and never had any problem with Asus products. My experience may vary to others but yeah thats my experience

If you do use the front, removed the included front filter, and replace it with a better mesh. The one they use for the front specifically is super restrictive (perhaps if you use the top fans as exhaust, use that included filter for the front intake)

rtings hasnt reviewed it, however tftcentral has.

rtings and tftcentral have different testing methodologies,so take that into account. Thankfully however tftcentral have tested both the monitors u have listed. IMO the Alienware is the better of the 2.

It is however IPS so be prepared for the panel lottery in that regard.

    @sabre350Z

IPS displays look terrible in dark rooms (due to IPS glow), and dont look as good displaying dark scenes. VA is better in that regard.

However VA has a hard time with pixel transition speeds of dark transitions, resulting in ghosting, whilst IPS is more even across all transitions.

options that have been reviewed by rtings.

Efficiency would be a bit better on the power supply if you look at the curves, but I guess your not wrong in the meaning of total power draw.
    so I stand corrected!

This setup won't need 700+ watts. A decent 650W unit would do fine

Just to pay my respects here and not having much experience with makes and models here. But your core specs “ intel I9, RTX 2080ti, 32Gb ram, ...” are pretty on point for an ultimate gaming experience, bang for buck not really, but I get the feeling that’s not the goal here lol. Tho I would go a bit bigger maybe on the power supply, I have the “I7, 2070, 16Gb” and have the 700w psu.
but hats off to you sir!

    go for the Z390
if you are going to get a intel i5 9th gen with a K at the end, you have to get a Z chipset, only the Z chipsets are overclockeble for as far as i know and the Z390 is the most updated version to date, if you are not going for the Z chipset, don't bother going for the intel K cpu's.

    I love that title ❤️

I would get the AW3418DW. Dell's customer service and warranty are pretty good compared to anything else I've experienced

Ducky has a Belgian azerty layout, you can get them from alternate.be I think. I’m searching for one as well, a good mechanical keyboard that is. And I was thinking between Corsair and Logitech but Logitech’s azerty layout is french and not Belgian.
