i have come to get help from the gods of the net.
i have this problem:
whenever i am at windows 10 doing nothing (and i mean absolutely nothing) my GPU sometimes spike to 100% and instantly back.
whenever i am in a game and the GPU is used 100% it randomly drops to .... about 90-80% (i also notice the fps drop from 70 to 50)
the pc is clean, fresh installed so no viruses (did check though) newest updates (bios, gpu and every driver the pc needs)
i wont let alot op "crap" run on my pc while starting up only the things it needs.
the spikes occure in the "3d" part of the GPU, the rest is steady.
specs:
AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1920x
16GB DDR4 2666MHz
Asus GTX Strixx 1080 8gb
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. ROG STRIX X399-E
931GB Samsung SSD 960 EVO 1TB
i hope there is anyone who knows about this problem, maybe is thermal, maybe the PSU i dunno.
