  1. I couldnt find a solution, but one of my friends gave me parts from his pc and that works.
  2. Well my 550w psu made no difference, so I once again have no idea of what to do
  3. estimated wattage turned out to be almost 500w. I could run this thing with my old 550w psu I guess. should I try? I dont want my psu to die tho...
  4. Nothing is overclocked, I have a 650w psu, should be enough to feed a fx9590 right? bios settings are mostly on default apart from a few changes like disable oc because this mobo loves to oc everything, I disabled that manually bc it was causing bsod's. the card worked perfectly in my old pc, its a 1050ti, the ram is also reused from my old pc, and the mobo as well. the only that changes is the cpu, cooler, and psu (the 650w one)
  5. I have no way of telling when its going to freeze, thermals at 100% dont go above 50c for cpu and 60c for gpu. it does happen at idle sometimes, but most of the time during games. windows memory diag said memory is a-ok, the amount of times the drive was wiped and windows reinstalled is uncountable, google didnt really help.
  6. Hi, my pc has been doing this for half a year and I am completely out of ideas. Most of the time it freezes while gaming, but when and what game seems to be completely random there is no bsod or any error dump at all, and my pc is completely unresponsive until unplugged. I would upload a video but its 58mb and sint accepted ;-; cmon its 30 seconds long!
  7. Nevermind I found the issue, my bios thought that I had 1600mhz ram instead of 1333mhz. fixed the issue now, thanks.
  8. sorry didnt mention, its an antec psu. I can access the event viewer, but where do I find the logs? and temps are ok, yes. nothing shuts off games just exit to desktop in half a second.
  9. Almost every game I run crashes randomly, I just installed these games and windows. I reinstalled windows and the games multiple times, updates graphics drivers, tried windows 7 AND 10 (windows 10 was a nightmare for my pc). The games crash without any warning, and they dont crash at the exact same place. Currently running windows 7, web browsing and osu work just fine but the other games I installed (Borderlands 3, Metro Exodus, The Outer Worlds, and beamng) crash without warning. closest I got from these games to an error message was from beamng, and the older sometimes says that it detected instability in a vehicle, integrity check says ok and I reinstalled the game twice. I removed all mods as well. I remember reading an error log saying that it cant find my keyboard and mouse over and over again as well. SFC said ok, chkdsk said ok, memtest said ok, windows update fails every time though and I cant get anywhere with it. With windows 10 it was a nightmare. I am using Win7 now but I will provide if this helps on my previous experience: Problems I had with windows 10: PC restarted randomly, no bsod just off and on out of nowhere. I fixed the restart problem by uninstalling razer synapse and chucking my keyboard into my basement, next I got bsod's that I fixed by updating windows and drivers, and the final issue I had was the same. Games crash randomly except osu and my browser. Here are my specs: fx9590 cpu, 12gb ddr3 1333mhz ram, 1050ti, m5a97 mobo, 650w psu, generic case with only power switch hooked up, generic asus monitor (hdmi), eclipse mouse, razer blackwidow chroma keyboard, razer headset, 2 1tb hard drives, one 2tb hard drive, one kingston 230gb SSD (boot drive, Windows 7 currently). I have a hyper 212 evo as a cooler, I made sure the system isnt overheating already and ran chkdsk, sfc, memtest, and driver verifier. all said everything is ok.
  10. I figured it out, it was razer synapse. Deleted it and problem solved
  11. Ran for about 30 minutes, don't remember exactly what it said but my memory is ok. My cases reset switch is broken, but currently only the power switch is plugged in to the motherboard
  12. I used windows memory diagnostic (built in one), the chinese motherboard is under the "worked fine" thing so that is fine as is.
  13. My pc restarts randomly, most of the time it goes like this: log on, works fine. Start fullscreen application (usually a game), still works fine. Exit game, immediately restarts with no warning or bsod. Boot, log on, immediate reset. This goes on in a loop a few times until it works for a bit. Then it is completely random when it will restart. Maybe on idle when you are eating, may be when watching a video, maybe when you are playing a game. I updated all drivers and windows, reset windows, sfc, chkdsk, memory diagnostic, everything said it was ok. This is a fresh windows installation, installed just yesterday. Now on installation: if I inserted a hard drive with a OS it would just have a blinking white cursor. If I put in a SSD, windows would boot. If I tried to install windows on that pc, it would either crash or reset. Attempting to access any drive from windows installation caused a reset, booting into safe mode (only did this twice) and it was perfectly fine. But I get random bsod in safe mode. I remember a few: "kernel service exception", *something* service exception, basically anything with service exception in it. In normal windows I got this just once, something about kernel security service exception. This is a fresh windows installation I will repeat. Here are my system specs: Fx9590 cpu Gtx1050ti M5a97 mobo Windows 10 x64 (on ssd) 3 hard drives 550w corsair psu 12gb of ram Razer chroma blackwidow keyboard Some generic asus monitor Eclipse mouse pad Eclipse mouse Razer headphones Case from a dumpster, same with chair (if that matters) System specs that worked perfectly fine: I5 3570 (just 3570, no letter) Same psu Same card Same everything but no ssd, 8gb of ram, and had a cdrom. Motherboard os unknown, some cheap Chinese one withought usb or fan ports on it (except cpu fan)
