  1. Hello friends. I just got the Neon Digital RGB Combo Kit from Phanteks today and installed them where I wanted them. They are daisy chained and then plugged into the ARGB 5 Volt Header of my Asus B550-A Motherboard. However, when I launch Aura Sync (which they are compatible with according to the box), they are not detected so I cannot change them from the stock Rainbow RGB color? The majority of my build is Corsair, and almost everything uses Icue, the only reason I have Aura Sync is to control lighting for my Strix 3080. I also use the Aura Sync stand alone version instead of Armory Crate because AC causes issues and is filled with bloatware. I am hoping someone may have an answer as these strips do not work with Icue, and I don't want to install a 3rd RGB software lol. Thanks for your time.
  2. Hello. I am curious what has shown the most promise for cooling with a Lian Li o-11 Dynamic case fan/AIO layout to cool a Ryzen 5900x? Temps, case pressure, etc. I currently have 3 Corsair QL 120 on the bottom as INTAKE, 3 Corsair QL 120 side mounted as INTAKE, and Corsair h150i 320mm top mounted as EXHAUST. This has always been the best option for me with previous builds after testing, However after 2 separate 5900x running very hot due to high v core feed, I am wondering if this is still best option for this layout? Thanks for your time.
  3. I will need to learn how to do it. I used PBO/Curve Optimizer and it did work, until I updated bios, then even with those same settings it wouldn't under volt. Its like the last 3 bios are not stable?
  4. I sure it’s the voltages, my issue is I can’t get them to lower. Tried PBO and active optimizer but it just fluctuate the voltages.
  5. Having all of these same issues myself. Rebuilt the same computer with all brand new parts, and the second round is the same but I'm also now having USB disconnection issues as well. At this point I'm pulling my hair out and am ready to just go back to intel because I'm at a loss. 6. Since upgrading to the Asus Dark Hero x570 and Ryzen 5900x I have had nothing but issues and the computer is pretty much unusable from temp issues to USB disconnection issues. Initially I have having an issue where the CPU temps where unreasonably high. Idle was 60c from cold boot, then when I open a game say Cold War it would instantly shoot up to about 78c then after one 10 min game I'm 80-85c. And before you say "oh that's normal Ryzen runs hot" no it should not be to this degree right off the bat. And YES my AIO mount is fine/tested and re applied proper NON stock Thermal Paste. I realized that the v core was always a constant 1.45v. After researching I found some PBO/Curve Optimizer settings that fixed the issue. PBO enabled> advanced> PBO limits Disabled> All Core> -30 offset. Boom issue fixed everything great. 40c idle, 67c after hours of gaming, 4.4ghz all core stable. THEN, I Updated to a STABLE new bios for the board and all the issues came back. Tried reverting the settings that I had, Tried putting everything stock, tried disabling DOCP, Tried turning off any PBO of any sort, then finally reinstalled Windows.. nothing worked. V core and cores fluctuating and going nuts, temps shoot up, etc. Reached out to ASUS support who said they think "The sensors on the board went out" and they wanted me to send my brand new board in for repair... No way. Beyond frustrated I re-purchased, BRAND new, EVERY component in this machine, rebuild the machine with brand new versions of the SAME components, except the GPU because I had no issue with that. Reinstalled windows on NEW drives, and now the board has not only the SAME issue with the Temps, but a new even worse issue where the USB devices keep disconnecting for 4-5 seconds every 5 min or so making it unusable! Also in iCUE the Commander Pro fan hub, keyboard, mouse, AIO, RAM, lighting strips are all detected but the lighting node core which controls the RGHB for the fans is NOT detected. Its plugged into known good USB and SATA power, nothing. At this point I'm pulling my hair out and am ready to just go back to intel because I'm at a loss. 7. Hello friends. I am currently rocking an Asus Dark Hero X570 and a Ryzen 5900x (rest of build specs below). When I built this I had an issue with CPU temps due to the cpu getting 1.4v at all times, causing 60c+ at idle, and the moment I turned on a game it would shoot to 80c+ and get worse. After endless hours on forums and troubleshooting, I came across this video: After following these steps, I was able to get a stable 4.4ghz at 1.2v which gave me a decreased temp of around 65c after hours of gaming, -30 negative offset running BIOS v 3401 and D.O.C.P. on set to standard profile no tweaking. It worked very well and did not have any issues. Fast forward I purchased a LianLi 4.0 PCIe riser cable to vertically mount my ASUS strix 3080, and then updated bios to new stable v 3601 and right away the issues returned. However now when I put the card back in not vertically mounted, the issues returned even worse. Now at idle I'm about 70c and after half way through one game of COD for example the game crashes and I'm exceeding 84c cpu temps. Steps I have done to remedy this: -Removed riser cable and reinstalled GPU normally. -Flashed bios BACK to known good version 3401 -Cleared CMOS -Reinstalled windows -Reverted all bios settings back to standard/auto and did not mess with PBO/Curve Optimizer -Purchased new AIO -Created more aggressive fan curves At this point my temps are insane and I cannot get this rig to cool down no matter what I try and its unusable. At this point any help is appreciated. Current build: -Lian Li 011 Dynamic -Ryzen 5900x -Asus Dark Hero X570 -Asus Strix 3080 OC -Corsair Dominator platinum RGB 3200MHZ (8X32GB) -Corsair Elite Capellix AIO triple fan -Corsair RMx 1000 PSU
  8. After testing a game i noticed frame reduction. I am running the bios that came with the board which is version 3003. There is an update for 3501 but its in beta so I am not too sure about that. I basically plugged and played without any tweaking.
  9. So I’m using a triple fan Corsair iCue capellix. Same AIO I used before but I just got that AIO like 3 months ago. I was using stock pre applied paste from the aio with the 3700x. Now with the 5900x since I had to re apply paste. I ordered the thermal grizzly kryonaut. I have been reading online that there could be fake stuff out there though. Also I have never spread paste with the spatula before so I’m hoping I didn’t use to much or even worse, fake batch.
  10. Thanks for your swift response I appreciate it. I was concerned that the kryonaut I purchased may have been fake. I’m not sure though. Maybe it was applied wrong.
  11. I see. I had a 3700x with a B550-F before this and I would idle at around 32c and then get up to about 63c while playing a game. So this was quite the jump.
  12. Hey friends! Just recently upgrade to a Ryzen 5900x with an Asus Dark Hero X570 and 32gb of 3200mhz Corsair Dominator Platinum (4x8gb). After installing I haven’t done anything to the BIOS other than turning on DOCP. I updated drivers on the Asus site. At idle I’m getting around 45c and the minute I turn on a game I’m up to like 78c-80c right away. Most likely I haven’t updated or customized something. I also did NOT reinstall windows. I switched my 500gb and 1TB m.2 drives over to the new board. I also applied Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut with the spread method. Using a Corsair iCue Cappelix AIO triple fan for cooling. Any tips??
  13. It’s the Ethernet that came with the system so I would like to Believe so at least.
  14. Hello friends. I recently purchased the Orbi AX4200 (Rbk750) from Costco. This is the WiFi 6 orbi router with 2 additional satellites making a 3 piece set. I’m running a gigabit plan through my service provider (Cox Communications, 1000mbps down, 40mbps up) but I’m getting maybe 200mbps on the satellite that is hard wired to my PC, and around 150mbps on both myself and my girlfriend iPhone 12 pro when standing directly in front of main router. Living in a 1700 sqft 2 bedroom apartment. The layout is as followed: Arris Surfboard docsis 3.1 modem (capable of up to 2000mbps) hardwired into router which both live in the living room. 60 feet away is the satellite in the office which is hardwired via a cat 6 Ethernet cable into my PC. And the other satellite 60 ft the opposite direction in our bedroom. Things I have done: Cox has had a technician come to my place and confirm advertised speeds are coming directly from modem. Also placed all brand new wiring and splitter. Exchanged entire orbi system with brand new set up from Costco sealed in box. Factory Reset orbi. Flashed new firmware directly onto router from PC. Attempted to change channels within router settings. Hours of tech support both chat and phone with net gear support. All of this to no avail, don’t know what to do. After exchanging 2 systems in a matter of 3 days I have lost confidence in the product and I know it’s not the service provider. Does anyone have a suggestion?
  15. Thanks for the advice, and its noted. How about some of these bios settings as far as set speeds etc. Do some needs to be higher or lower by chance?
  16. Hey guys. Just recently built this machine and didn't do much customization (new to "clock speeds" etc.) And I feel like the performance is not what it should be. I am pretty sure the stuttering and rendering issues along with low FPS I encounter in games such as Call of Duty and Doom eternal are due to this. I am wondering if I can get some help or pointers? The only thing I have done is turn on D.O.C.P. for RAM and "OC Mode" on Asus Tweak software. Any help is welcome, Thanks in advance! Build: AMD Ryzen 3700x Asus Strix b550 F Gaming MOBO Asus Strix RTX 2070 Super 32gb (4x8gb) 3200hz Corsair Vengeance RGB RAM Corsair RMx 1000 PSU WD Black 500gb m.2 SSD WD Black 1tb m.2 SSD Asus TUF VG27AQL1A Monitor (1440p, 170hz, IPS, GSYNC)
  17. So you think this MOBO and CPU paired with a 3080 would not present bottleneck or performance issues?
  18. Currently rocking the following specs. AMD Ryzen 3700x ASUS StriX RTX 2070 Super ASUS StriX B550 F mobo 32gb Corsair Vengeance 3200hz (4x8gb) Corsair RMx 850watt PSU If upgrading to ASUS StriX RTX 3080, Would this be enough? Would I need more wattage? Any recommended upgrades to the build in general if switching to this GPU?
  19. Based off research I have done the 3700x gives best performance at 1080p, which I am experiencing now. I am hoping my current specs would not hinder performance at 1440p 144hz which is why I had been looking at the 3900x.
  20. Better question. If I upgraded to a 1440p, 144hz monitor, Could I get max frame rate with the 3700x and 2070 super on 1440p 144hz?
  21. Just gaming at the moment, may be turning this into a multi task machine. I am currently running a 1080p monitor but wish to upgrade to 1440p and I am trying to get the best performance at 1440p, 144hz, etc.
  22. Hello. I currently have an ASUS strix B550 F mobo paired with an 3700x and a 2070 super. I have no issues so far its been great but I am looking to possibly upgrade to a 3900x. While I know the 3900x is compatible with the strix b550 f, will this CPU run well on the b550 F? Thanks for your time!
  23. I think i narrowed the issue down to the GPU. The fans are always spinning even at idle. Not sure how to combat this.
  24. Any suggestion for software to set custom GPU fan curve for this asus card? I have used asus tweak 2 but its kind of spotty.
