  1. OHHH crap i get it now, jeeezz im a idiot. I was grouping all the psu's into the "yellow" or "black" label, so the RM is the one with different labels, as you said. OK, i got it. Sorry, i appreciate your help! Im embarrassed now, ffs. So the top ones are type 3 and the bottom type 4. LOL Mercy
  2. Yes I did and couldnt decipher which I needed, if I had been able I wouldnt have asked it here. Thanks for the input.
  3. Could someone please tell me which cablemod kit I need for this power supply, if its compatible at all. Im assuming its "black label" kit. But I only see RM psu's under the black label kits. Thanks!
  4. Whats the story on the GIGABYTE Z390 DESIGNARE? Just a different type styling? Oh i see it has thunderbolt, dont think i will be needing that. Master it is!
  5. Im going to go with the master, fits within my budget. Dont know if I can wait till black friday though
  6. Thanks for the info! And I appreciate not being jumped on instantly for stupidity. I havent upgraded in a few years so im kind of behind the curve. I do like gigabyte as a whole, havent ever had any issues with their products. The Aorus master is looking like what I will go with. Concerning the psu, it is at least 4 years old, Id say it is NOS for sure. I do have a Rosewill tomahawk psu also I could use if it would be better suited. I dont want to get crazy with OC but a stable 5ghtz without cooking eggs on the vrm's is kind of my goal.
  7. Yep 1200 watt, actually had it already on the shelf. EVGA Supernova 1200 P2. It was new and unused so I threw it in. Now you have me worried, good lord... Which "top tier" boards should i be on the look out for?
  8. Recently decided to upgrade my pc and really couldnt stop myself. The only thing I still have left thats original to the pc is the mobo, which is a Gigabyte z370 HD3. While the z370 does work fine, its triggering me to not update it as well. Ive added a 2080ti, 9900k, 32gb ddr4 3200, nvme boot drive, 1200 watt psu etc. So ive decided to go ahead and change out the motherboard as I want to do some overlcocking without cooking my pc. I have researched a good bit, read through the existing posts and lists and what not, but most of the info seems a little dated. So im reaching out, right now I have in mind a tiachi and aorus master. Looking to stay around $300 to fit my budget. Thanks!
  9. Looking for the same for my 2080ti xc ultra, cablemod support says no go on a three slot card. Is this not correct?
