I have an Asrock X370 Taichi that was running flawlessly with BIOS 4.80
Making sure I have the latest BIOS is like an itch that I just have to scratch, so I went to see what updates were available
I noticed that it said 5.80 wasn't suited for Summit Ridge, so I decided on 5.60
There were specific instructions that I followed closely.
First I downloaded the newest AMD All in one driver
Second I flashed to 5.10 without issue
Third I flashed to 5.60, but when I restarted the computer wouldn't POST. It gave me debug code 55 which pertains to memory.
I tried to orient my memory differently to see if I could get it to work to no avail. I tried using a different set of memory but that wouldn't work. I tried to clear the cmos and it keeps coming up with this debug code 55.
The asrock web site says that you cannot flash to a previous version of BIOS once you've gone to 5.60 I didn't notice this originally but that's what it says.
I'm not an expert on clearing the CMOS, i'm not sure if i'm missing anything
i don't want to do an RMA if I can help it.
