    so I recently purchased a r7 260x and it uses pcie 3.0 if I throw it in a pcie 2.0 slot will it still work.

    a 760 rocks at 1080p gaming the only reason i would get a 770 is to do 1440p gaming

    I have the phenom it restricts airflow to the gpu i would get a 250d from corsair

    go with the xeon e3-1230v3 it has the same performance as a i7 4770 but you lose the Intel graphics 250$.
