Some Guy17's Achievements

  1. The PC stayed in my room during the meantime and I’ve completely disassembled it to troubleshoot it. I’ve also already reset the cmos.
  2. I built a PC to sell to my aunt for Christmas so she could gift it to my cousin. He’s not a heavy gamer so I put an FX 6300 and a 1050Ti in the PC. I was putting in the wireless internet adapter (pcie) and a hard drive after not turning it on for around a month. I know for a fact it worked before and a short while after the instillation. It turns on and it seems to be working just fine, but, it does not display anything on my monitor. My power supply seems to be functional and it seems to be more of a motherboard problem from what I see. However, I’m not too-well versed in the area of hardware troubleshooting. I have to have it ready at least a couple days before Christmas and the parts I’ll have to order will take time to deliver. Someone please help!
  3. I am planning to build a water cooled rig with a copper radiator. The only block I could find for my gpu was nickel so I just decided to go with that. I've read some about not mixing metals and that silver may be the main contributor in galvanic corrosion. I've noticed that all of the radiators I have seen are copper. Would everything be ok if I bought this water cooling loop, a nickel cpu block, a nickel gpu block for the msi gtx 1080 Ti Gaming X, and any 360mm copper radiator with the fluid included in the kit?
