I bought an Ender 3 Pro a couple years ago, and I've been pretty happy with it. The only mod I've done so far is the Creality aluminum extruder drive kit; I ordered it with the printer and installed it day 1, and never used the plastic parts that came with the printer. I just use Cura and print the Gcode files off an SD card, I haven't tried Octoprint yet. The Z axis threaded rod was a little banana-shaped out of the box, but I got it mostly straight.

Here's its first Benchy, printed with fresh PLA and minimal tuning:

I think the horizontal lumps were caused by the imperfect threaded rod.

Manual bed leveling is annoying, but automatic leveling kits are available. I haven't tried any yet.

The Pro is a little loud out of the box, mostly due to the weedy little parts cooling fan running full-tilt. I run my printer in a mostly-unused half-bath, so that's not a big deal for me. There's also the robotic stepper motor noise, which can be remedied with a replacement drive board.

Building the printer on a perfectly true surface made dialing it in pretty easy. (I used my glass stovetop.)

You can't go wrong with either, but If I were buying a new printer now I'd go for the V2. It looks like it's basically a Pro that comes with most of the good community mods out of the box, and the equivalent upgrades for a Pro would cost more than the price difference.

Out of your options, V2 is the clear winner. As far as printing "fast", you will lose silence as StealthChop wont work at higher speeds. I have a v2 as well, I only added crtouch and filament sensor and other than that its stock and prints wonderfully (meaning I got no reason to mod it).

Save the money on the 1650, it's not needed. Just use the integrated graphics. If you really are just doing server stuff with this build, no gpu is required.

Nothing you listed needs gpu power, so a gt710 is more than plenty. The gpu is only there for video output for the install and troubleshooting.

Thats a pretty light use, probably something like a 3200g then, could go 3600 if you want faster, then get a cheap gpu aswell

Also can't look at clock speed like that, you can't compare clockspeed between chips.

Do you mean a lamp stack? Your not running wamp stack on linux.

Id probalby go 32gb of ram, all of this stuff likes ram.

Also for the os, Id put a hypervisor like proxmox, makes it much easier to manage and work with.

The cheaper one.  If there’s something cheaper than those I’d look at it.  Drawing is not a fast skill to learn, and the media is less important than learning the hand eye stuff.  Back in the day before electronic art the preferred media for into drawing classes was newsprint and vine charcoal.  Not because they were good, but because they were the cheapest materials possible.  You don’t start a new musician with an expensive instrument.

it went back on 2100MHZ on next system restart. ill stop for now before i do damage. Once ill get new cpu ryzen 3rd gen.  i hope then ram will be running at 3200Mhz

Managed to get up to these speeds. Will try increasing voltage and speed

I guess ill have to stick to it. Untill i change cpu to 3rd gen cpu

I could if I wasn't also broke lol

Thanks for the tip though, I'll see what I can do and if we can sort something out together

I've read cooling NMVe SSD-s is pointless. Not to be taken as a fact.
I have a 1TB 970 EVO Plus and is was idling around 40C and under load 60+C  - measured by CrystalDiskInfo
But after getting a better value and cooler SSD I started erasing 970 with multiple passes and monitoring temps with HWinfo. According to latter the temps were exceeding 90C
But no data corruption ever happened with that 970 EVO Plus. And speeds are remarkable.
