  1. I bought the blue version and the watch in "Champagne Gold / Hazel". I'll prob get the case or another strap from Amazon or dbrand. The pricing for those accessories on the Google Store feels a bit high for what they are. A magnetic watch strap costs 139€ and can go upto 210€ https://store.google.com/de/category/pixel_watch_bands
  2. Well, let's hope the ban hammer spares them The only situation I can think of is running. Or when I go swimming, leave my phone in the locker and am on call for work. I am not even sure if the watch could do that and it happens very very rarely. But the idea sounds cool Glad to hear you are upgrading too. I had the Pixel 4a 5G before and was very happy, but the battery life is getting bad and the new camera seems amazing. Did you get a case and screen protector as well?
  3. Hi, I will be doing something new for me regarding phones. Buying the expensive option to see if it's worth it. Usually I am a total min / maxer. It'll be the Pixel 8 Pro. It comes with the Pixel Watch 2, which makes it more of an okay deal. Should I now shell out the extra 50€ (about $50) for the LTE version? This makes it 1149 instead of 1099. Is that an important feature for a Smartwatch? Especially when my carrier will charge me another 5€ per month for the multi SIM feature. I would appreciate your view on this.
  4. Those are hopefully going to be two different servers. I don't think they are registered. At least I didn't mean for them to be. I found not to use them with ryzen in my research too. Are you sure they are? But what I am really not confident about are the two PSUs and the Motherboard/Case combination.
  5. Sounds fair! The small server is general purpose. Nothing special. The big boi server is meant for an in memory database. It actually uses the resources. ;D The current one is in AWS and costs about 1,5k per month. (It's not mine) And I decided to help out by building a server and move it in a datacenter. What else do you need to know? Thank you for your interest and attention.
  6. Those are two configs for two different servers. Server 1 is going to be general purpose usage. Server 2 is for an in memory database. I would love to know more about this. This is exactly why I decided to post this It's basically my first server build.
  7. Server 1: 64GB RAM, 16 Threads https://geizhals.de/?cat=WL-2007545 I think I might be wasting some money on Server 1 and I am not sure if the config actually works. Server 2: 512GB RAM, 48 Threads https://geizhals.de/?cat=WL-2007747 I am quite sure the Server 2 config works, but would love to know your opinion.
  8. Sure, will do, but do you know what is included?
  9. Looks interesting. What exactly is included and where would I buy this?
  10. Thank you very much! Great, It's in a datacenter anyways, so I guess the loudness is pretty irrelevant
  11. Oh I forgot, somehow, redhat is the only option
  12. Budget (including currency): ~6000€ The budget can be like 7k if there are good reasons Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: S/4 Hana in Memory Database I am trying to build a server based around the AMD Epyc 7402P to move away from expensive cloud providers and would love to know if it is actually cheaper to build one than to rent. I have certainly build and configured computers before, but have not much knowledge where to even learn how to configure this. The specs I am looking for: 384 GB RAM 24 Cores, 48 Threads ~ 16TB of HDD Storage ~ 1TB NVME Storage Is it possible to do this in 1U? Even if I have a parts list, I always ask the forum, cause the forum simply knows best Would really appreciate if someone drops some advice, a link or two, where I can research, or even a specific part! Much appreciated, 4real.
  13. Hey man! Did you ever figure this out? I am trying the same thing.
  14. Oh ok. That's quite important for me as I use multiple phone numbers. One for work and one for private
