Pcpartpicker states the following warning message: Does that mean i should chose a different CPU? And do you guys think additional fans are required for the case?
  2. Thanks so far. I think i put the decision about the motherboard on hold for the moment as I have other questions I hope you can answer. Is there a difference whether I use 4x8GB or 2x16GB RAM sticks in performance? Are additional fan for the case necessary or are the 2 included in the case enough?
  3. Well I plan to also use my old 2 TB HDD and old 250GB SSD both of which would use SATA connectors.
  4. So you mean something like this: PCPartPicker Part List CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor (€329.90 @ Caseking) CPU Cooler: be quiet! The problem is I don't have an older CPU to update the bios if required. Does this mean that 2 of the 6 SATA III connectors won't work? I excluded the monitor for now.
  5. I usually have 20 to 30 tabs open in chrome. I don't play any game actively at the moment but I usually play a good mix of AAA and indie titles. I am interested in playing Cyberpunk next year if this gives you any indication. I am also not sure about the monitor. The monitor you suggested has a reaction time of 4 ms and a refresh rate of 165 Hz but there are monitors with also an IPS panel 1 ms refresh and 144 Hz for around 500€. Is the increase in refresh rate the increase in reaction time and price worth it? I am not really interested in esport titles but I sometimes play shooters like Doom, MoH or even Battlefield (last title I played was BF3). In this list I chose a cheaper monitor and upgraded the RAM, CPU and video card. Is the Ryzen 9 the upgrade worth it? 6. Thanks for the suggestion. I am planning to use a dual monitor set up with the second monitor being used for browsing the web or watching some show on the side. Do you think I need more RAM in this case? Also I read that some motherboards require a bios update for the AMD processor is this also the case with this particular MB?
  7. Hey guys, I am living in Germany and plan to buy a gaming rig for around 2-3k €. This build should be able to run high fidelity games at 1440p and high fps. The build should also include a good monitor. Stuff like mouse and keyboard is already existing. I appreciate your help, best regards.
