  1. So this does not make much since to me by when I was doing my own research on it I found this. https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/72971-add-ahci-link-power-management-power-options-windows.html I ran it and since then it is running fine from my basic understanding of this the power gets lowered to the M.2 (my OS) and that is why it is lagging. I applied it and it has worked fine so far.
  2. Just the base overclock profile that allowed my ram to run at what it is dedicated for. (I have already turned this off and the problem still occurs)
  3. Sorry for the late reply. Yes all of my drivers are up to date currently.
  4. I am using the MSI MPG x570 carbon pro gaming WiFi as my motherboard. The RAM I am using is G.Skill TridentZ 16GB F4-3200C16D-16GTZB
  5. It is still doing it I managed to get a picture of my taskmanager when it is stalling/freezing it stalled for about 2 minutes now it is back to working but when I switch between chrome tabs it lags.
  6. I was in the current update of the bios but I reinstalled it from a fresh download I will reply to this thread again if the freezing keeps occurring.
  7. Memtest 86 just finished there were no errors on the ram. I honestly did not realize how long that would take.
  8. Yeah I ran a CPU stress test and it ran fine under 100% load with the CPU temps only hitting 68 C as I said the graphics card has yet to hit 50 C.
  9. So I built my new computer less than a month ago. I originally figured that my computer may be slightly under powered with a 550 W PSU so I upgraded to a 750 W and it is still freezing randomly I can provide specs if needed. It is not a thermal issue I tested even under load the max temp only gets up to about 68 C . Any advice would be helpful. Thank you in advance. https://twitter.com/i/status/1183189049764397056 That is a video of what I am talking about the screen eventually goes black. After I restart my computer it works properly again. OS: Windows 10 pro 64 Bit Specs: Ryzen 7 3700X, GTX geforce 1660, MSI carbon pro wifi, 16 GB of G Skillz TridentZ, Samsung 970 Evo M.2.
