It is mentioned in the Anandtech article (and likely elsewhere), but Intel Graphics' tweet more simply clarifies where we are getting Xe in the near future:

It's a group reg unit and it's not as good as the ones mentioned above.
    I wouldn't personally get it.

Haro got a reaction from Oswin in 9th Gen vs 10th
because games do not scale up to 10 cores, and the 10600k performs similarly in gaming especially with an overclock.

assuming you're mainly gaming, a 10600k will be more than enough.
also lga 1151 is more or less dead and you'll have no upgrade path unless you switch to a different platform.

Haro reacted to DailyProcrastinator in 9th Gen vs 10th
Because core density past 4C/8T still does not matter that much for gaming. Frequency is king and a 10600k can clock just as high, you can even beat a 10900k with an OC. The 10900k is not bad, just not a logical decision for certain application uses.

if you are mainly gaming, get a 10600k. you dont need a i9 for gaming, and you wont really have any upgrade path if you go with 9th gen either.

But the first build is technically better and you could always add a drive later down the line.

Haro got a reaction from thirdparty in Motherboard VRM Tier List v2 (currently AMD only)
    It uses Daisy chain afaik.
I would personally go for the tuf.
Both of their vrms are capable and will easily handle any current am4 cpu as I said above.
But the tuf does have a better IO compared to the mortar.
But again, in terms of vrm, both are very capable.

I'd suggest looking for a 400-550W unit of actual decent quality. Those you picked are all crappy and you don't need 650W.
Look for a CX550, TX550M, Pure Power 11 400W/500W, MWE Gold 550W, or just something that's at least in tier B in the forum's PSU tier list, if that's easier for you.

TUF just gets the rating of X570-P since they have the same VRM, TUF has bigger heatsinks.

Mortar's rating is between the Bazooka (uses mosfets, drops efficiency) and Tomahawk (10 powerstages rather than 8), but since I havent seen actual performance of the Mortar with 3950X I'd rather rate it conservatively. Totally possible that the Mortar will go back to black letters instead.

As a Certified Rural Internet SurvivorTM, its not about the speed, beyond like 20 mbps.
It's the latency. As in, 300+ms of ping minimum on satellite.
Even 100ms on cellular was a godsend, this will be incredible.

9600K has an iGPU, so try POSTing with just that.

Try clearing CMOS with the GTX 1050ti plugged in, and make sure it is powered properly.

the power supply Tier list exists for people who do not know very much about power supplies. It just ranks them best to worst for your convenience.
