I just found out the vrm solution for the board that I'm getting.
And I gotta say. Not bad.
It uses 10 ( 8 for the vcore) 50A Drmos power phases. Lame that it's Dr but it's still seriously good from what I can see.

Afaik it's not. It's that the board manufacturers set the price higher and made a better vrm solution.
Also not all b550 boards are good. The prime K and the a are abysmal from the looks of it.

Well you get the 12v from the eps connector and you need to switch it to what ever voltages the cpu needs ( typically between 1.1-1.3 ) and the vrm is what regulates the 12v to whatever voltages the cpu needs.
