  1. Yeah, that's what it's powering for now. Probably will replace it once I upgrade to Ryzen, which is gonna be pretty much a whole new build except for the GPU. I could technically keep it in once I upgrade but I don't really wanna take any risks.
  2. I got one of those atm. Should I be rushing out to buy a new PSU and throw my current one in the trash?
  3. Pumpkin seeds. You can dry them up in the oven, and then salt them. Great natural replacement for chips.
  4. Watch Initial D and Wangan Midnight if you like cars and/or racing.
  5. It looks better, yeah. But the premise of the movie itself is still kinda "ehhh"
  6. Oh, I don't agree with that either. Do what you want: delete your battle.net acount, denounce Blizzard online, take a dump on your copy of Overwatch. Whatever, right? But trying to force people to do the same isn't right. Yeah, I doubt there'll be any big impact from this when it comes to China. Though I think it could be an effective way to show companies that they can't overstep their boundaries. Sure, Blizzard's punishment was within the rules (though I think taking the prize money was a bit much), but who knows: if this outrage didn't happen there could be a chance they'd just go full authoritarian with their rules, like Riot Games does.
  7. As someone who has no social life, I'd say that's not entirely true.
  8. Well, I doubt anyone here would be able to give you a definitive answer for that. But maybe they just didn't know it was an old system when they bought it. I mean, look at me: I have an FX-6300, a 7-year-old CPU. And I built this PC last year! Why? Because I didn't know it was such an old platform.
  9. Yeah guess what, they need to make money. And clickbait is usually a good way to get more views and make more money. Then again it's funny to notice that the Apple crowd and their complaints about Linus' supposed "google bias" are absent in this thread. Hopefully they'll show up again soon.
  10. Overly-complicated build process and unnecessary waste of materials justifies the absurd price tag.
  11. Basically, yes. The guy got a rare weapon on a game called Legend of Mir 3. His friend asked if he could borrow it for a while (presumably to level up or something), and then sold it for 7,200 yuan, which was about 500 Euro at the time. The original owner of the weapon tried going to the police, but at the time there were no laws in China covering property in online games. His friend offered to hand over the money he got from selling it, but the owner of the weapon instead just broke into his friend's home and stabbed him in the chest. He got a life sentence for it. Wait, how's that work?
  12. Which in turns reminds me of the days when they sold GPUs by putting some weird-looking monster things on the box.
  13. Printers aren't that great either IMO. Setting them up is always a pain in the ass.
  14. With the recent announcement of the unlocked Athlon 3000G coming late this month for a supposed launch price of 50$, an "overclocking contest" could be an interesting idea for a video: Just get some of the staff, have them each buy one of these new Athlons, and see who can overclock it the highest. Maybe, to keep things balanced, establish some rules like not allowing people to use "high-end" cooling solutions (YEAH I'M TALKING TO YOU, LINUS. PUT THE CHILLER AWAY.), and maybe have everyone use the same chipset as well. It could be entertaining.
  15. That's actually an interesting video suggestion for LTT! Have some of the guys each buy one and see who can overclock it the highest
