Nope, just a newb question.

I've had my PC for basically a year now and I haven't found an easy way to upkeep the software on it. I do have the usual CCleaner, Malwarebytes and Avast just to make sure I'm safe from viruses and stuff, but is there any software that can make sure all my drivers are up to date and update them for me. If I download the newest version of my drivers do I have to delete the old ones, can I even. Oh, and all of these Microsoft Visual C++ things what are they and can I delete some. I guess what I'm asking is "Can you give me some helpful tips on how to upkeep my PC"? Thanks P.S. I think this would be a good idea for a couple of LTT videos. I first came across Linus back in the days of the graffiti background at NCIX. My first video of him was the, Display Interfaces (VGA, DVI, HDMI, Display Port) Round Up (NCIX Tech Tips #84), video. Back then I had thought he was obnoxious and annoying. Everything he said went way over my head, so at that time I didn't bother to look at more of his videos. I just bought my first round of parts . The only thing I'm changing is the motherboard. I'm switchin to an ASRock MB970 EX4. thank you guys for your help.

that's a bit over my budget because I still need monitor mouse and keyboard to be fully set up.

The main concerns were power supply not being powerfully enough for upgrades, the cpu being a bottleneck, and the motherboard not being very upgradable. Does anyone think I would need upgrades anytime soon? And thanks so much for all the help.
