Need help with my GPU thermal pad replacement.

I mean for VRM and memories not the chip itself, I done some researches and I saw people uses thermal pads for those. The thing is that am confused about the thickness as I read people says 1.0mm,1.2mm,1.5mm etc... so I want to ask if anyone know what to use for my GPU, or at least give me a general rule on how to pick the right thickness for thermal pads.

Hello, Does anyone have an idea what is the thermal pads thickness for this card (Gigabyte 1660 ti windforce oc)? or can give advice for something I can work with.
