  1. I have plenty of space what games do you play that don’t support ultrawide? I hadn’t thought of that. I’m currently using a very old flat screen tv as my monitor lol
  2. Only thing I was concerned with was not seeing that ram on the motherboard QVL.
  3. Posted a few days ago but didn’t get much feedback so I thought I’d try again 1. Budget & Location northeast USA would like to stay under $2500 if possible 2. Aim i typically play older games but would like to venture into newer heavy gaming high FPS/resolution (prefer immersive rpgs , but also have an interest in playing anno 1800, shadow of the tomb raider among others. just restricted by my dated rig. may also would like to dip into VR in the future when i can afford a headset(opinions on that would be great too) also run programs in the background (ie discord, 2 to 3 web, vpn etc.) I'm torn on what monitor or monitors to get. i don't need super extravagant but a decent 144hz refresh rate and 1080-1440 resolution. im leaning towards an ultra wide currently, 35in but also tend to use a second monitor on occasion. i don't plan on doing any overclocking hence just the stock cooler with the ryzen cpu but may upgrade to an aio in the future. More then likely the Corsair that matches the rgb scheme I’ve picked. 4. Peripherals i have access to windows education for free and as far as peripherals im using razer naga and anasi keyboard logitech g933 headset and plan on using them in the new rig. may also get the farming simulator wheel/side controller (go ahead and laugh) 5. Why are you upgrading? short answer is its time. 5+ year old rig has trouble running most any game. some games are only playable on the lowest settings If playable at all. have also been experiencing blue screens rather often that i have neither the time/ adequate knowledge to address. i don’t see my chosen ram on the qvl but I’ve seen other builds on PCPartPicker that show them using it. Maybe I missed it.
