should be fine, total power draw is well below the 3 connector spec with the stock bios. 425w is the overclocked power draw i think, from gamers nexus's vids. 3x 8 pins plus pcie power should be like 525w or something lol, as each 8 pin is rated for 150w.
 
although now that i think about it, ive definitely pulled more than 150w through a single 8 pin, if the gpu-z power readings are right. my 980ti pulls 360 under full load, and it usually pulls 40 from the slot, 170 from the first connector, and 150 from the second connector. should i be worried about that?

using piggy back style connectors like that poses very minor overclocking stability issues, might lose like 25mhz off max stable frequency compared to using individual wire runs.

It should be fine considering that the FE 3080 only uses 2x 8 pins adapted to 12 pin

I think the reason is nothing of people getting worse, but the audience getting wider.
Back "then" computer games were mostly part of nerdy and geeky people, nowayads basically everyone plays videogames
That means more people plays them whose life might not revolve around it, and while I am against the aimbots and other performance enchanting cheats, but I am alright with prestige hacks. why? because there are many people who do not have time to play 50 hours and get every weapon, but they might want to have fun a few hours a week. and IF the game is balanced right, it should not affect the game itself

I admit, I like sales WHEN ITS SHIT I CARE ABOUT. But just saying "Oh Steam has so many cheap games" means nothing. Most of it is filler crap. It sits in your library and never gets touched. People are actually PROUD of having such large libraries that don't get used. I dont care how much money I save, its still a waste of whatever money I spent. But nope, Valve is fucking saintlike and can't be criticized. 
Half Life 3 is the next Duke Nukem Forever. A joke. 
 
The expectations are too high now. Valve could never deliver. Gaming has moved on since Half Life 2. People are doing different things. HL2 is not some standard anyone cares about. Fanboys go on and on about how HL2 still plays fresh today, I want to know what they are smoking. 
 
Far Cry 1 feels more fresh and relevant to games today. FC1 plays better than HL2 could ever dream of. Yet its Valve, so we have to keep the emotional circlejerk going. 
 
God, you're right. If any other company did the shit that Valve does, they'd be getting torn apart. But Valve gets a pass for what? Giving us occasional hits every few years and operating a DRM filled store that as much as they claim, has no exit strategy? 
I support GoG. Real DRM free. I actually own it (as much as possible under EULA). Not the crap Valve keeps doing and getting a pass on.

Where is the outrage???? If this was EA, the thread would be 100 pages by now talking about how much EA sucks. Valve has been pissing on their customers for years, it's time people figured that out. EA may have made bad choices with their games, but at least they are constantly working on giving their people new games to play. Valve on the other hand has been milking micro-transactions for TF2 for 7 years, and released yet another "update" to Counter Strike as a full game, and added micro-transactions to it, and last but not least raking in money from micro-transactions in DotA 2.

Meanwhile during that time they bought out Turtle Rock to obtain the rights to the L4D franchise, had the Turtle Rock people pump out L4D 1 and 2, then fired them all while retaining the rights to the franchise they created. The people from Turtle Rock reformed their independent studio again, went through bankruptcy, but were luckily saved by 2K.

Over the last 7 years STEAM has transformed from a great digital marketplace for games into a sleazy sort of used car salesman that entices you to buy worthless junk. Multiple articles have pointed out that the vast majority of games that are purchased on STEAM are never played. Valve's marketing conditioned people into thinking they need to have the largest game library possible, even if they never play most of the games. The user trading cards, badges and "STEAM Levels" to help fuel that need to buy things.

If EA was doing any of the things Valve was doing, there would be riots in the street.

This game is starting to get Duke Nukem Forever syndrome, too much hype over too much time, and it won't live up.

Origin works perfectly for me now. It used to be worse. Plus, they've got those freebee games like Dead Space and Plants Vs Zombies which are awesome pretty much.

Sorry I don't think images in signatures will happen. I really like the less-cluttered approach we have here now.
 
If we do decide to add them at some point it'll likely be a "contributors only" feature to avoid things getting too cluttered.
