So it looks like all is good, thanks everyone!

Ever since I noticed that it's got three 8 pin connectors it made me scratch my smooth brain.

I've got a Corsair 750W RMx, it came with two of these 8 pin PCIe cables, so that means four 8 pin connections in total

Now the PSU didn't come with a third one, so I though of connecting it this way, would this be completely reasonable? I think I've read that Ideally you want completely separate PCIe connections.

I could try and find a different an additional Corsair PCIe cable from amazon but got no clue which one would work without frying my new card.

What do you guys suggest?

I hate Microsoft, they don't realise that they're loosing customers. Why would you ever only release a FPS for consoles? It's ridiculous!

Why do people assume Microsoft is their friend ? They're not, they are a business and business' need to make money.

Half Life 3 is beyond a joke at this point. The game is so non-existent even assumed developers Valve can't seemingly be bothered to keep the URLs current for the title.

Now Valve founder Gabe Newell has offered a new perspective on the game that has kept gamers guessing for about a decade.

I myself am not surprised, since the game wouldn't live up for the hype and many other reasons, VALVe probably know this best.

Origin isn't even that bad, if anything I had less issues with it then steam, pretty much if you don't like it you don't use it.

Everything as said you said has been done, without any progress though

the integratred one should be the default one. when u launch games and such that need the 780m then it should automatically kick in  and override the intel one. if u suspect a game is using the intel over the nvidia one. check 3d application setting in the nvidia control panel, choose a program and put it to the nvidia card.

 

also go to the webvsite and download the nvidia drivers from there including all the other us need then update the drivers through geforce experience afterwards. (reboot before updating)

The graphics card being used in games is the Intel HD one, and another problem is that the nvidia control panel won't even open up.

i'm not sure how laptop works but try checking the BIOS and configuring the graphics adapter from there?

BIOS seems to detect the graphics cards presence, I'm probably better of reinstalling Windows on thins thing, but I'll wait for more suggestions on this thread.

So my laptop which is an MSI GT70 recently ran into some issues, when turning it on one day I noticed the default graphics card has changed into the Intel HD integrated graphics, I went into device manager and noticed that the GTX 780M has changed to Uknown Device, I have tried doing update driver software, but it only comes up as Access Is denied on the window. Same thing goes to installing the new Nvidia Drivers, It would just say in the nvidia driver window that the graphics installation has failed, doing a system restore also hasn't done anything, just come's up as the same thing. Uninstalling and re installing the drivers also has no effect. Disabling anti-virus and firewall has no effect either.

I used to play a game called Runescape... someone hacked into my computer and ruined it with a RAT. It was the laptop that was my Dads, the only thing I had to remember him after he passed.  And to this day I'm never saying "no one will hack me"

RAT's only work if someone sends the victim and .exe and he runs it, but that's not the only method, people can also run java drive by's which is a java exploit that activates when you run java on the person's page, so I would say that it's nonsense to think that teamspeak can inject a RAT into your PC
