    Hi, I guess that in this comunity there are a lot of Model M users and I wanted to create a thread where we can share our love for them! I'll start by posting my buckling spring model found in my grandma's attic. Unfortunately it doesn't have the birth certificate anymore, but it's still in great shape.

    Hi, I'm about to buy my components for a 1000$ (actually 1000€) pc, monitor excluded. I Initially chose the RX 5700 XT as my gpu for 429€, but this forced me to chose a small 240 gb ssd, and a case with one fan (phanteks p350x) and I had to go with the stock ryzen 5 3600 cooler. Should I leave it as it is, or should I downgrade to a RX 5700 for 345€ and buy an other fan or cpu cooler and a bigger ssd? I also like trident z rgb ram 3000mhz (but I guess it's no different between this ram and the corsair vengeance 3000mhz).

    Path tracing is a different version of ray tracing. It is less precise and the resolution of the rays is bigger, but it can still simulate phisically accurate lighting effects to a certain degree (es: GI, AO, reflections etc)
