  1. Like I said, it's pointless to continue this. I already said, let's leave it at that. No need to continue this, I know I already read one of those articles. As I would like to avoid an argument. I know that it's a part of human nature to like being right, but you two already have made your point.
  2. I don't obviously take everything on there as 100% accurate, I'd be dumb if I did. But hey, won't make a difference if we continue this. So, let's just leave it at that and continue on with our lives.
  3. The i9-10900k will be better performance wise than the Ryzen 3700x. But, you will have to buy another motherboard on top of that (assuming you already have one) supports FCLGA 1200. Depending on what type of motherboard you buy, if you go for the i9-10900k, it'll be around a total of, let's just say $600-$800 bucks. On newegg, it's priced to be at $530. Though, I've come up with the conclusion that the 10900k will be better performance, because I looked at userbenchmark.com to get an idea. But, everybody is saying wait for the Ryzen 4000 line-up. So, just wait.
  4. For my GPU, it's core clock is advertised to be at 1770mhz. When I run a lot of my VR games, or other Triple A titles, it goes up to 2100+mhz without manually overclocking.
  5. Normally when I play VR games and such, my 2080ti boost clocks to around 2130mhz or more between 29 degrees celsius to 39 degrees celcius. My card is the Gigabyte Aorus RTX 2080ti Xtreme Waterforce WB 11g. I don't overclock, because there's no need to on a GPU like mine.
  6. You'll see a discernible difference for sure in graphics quality. But, if you're looking for a budget monitor, you'll probably going to be looking at a 60hz monitor. Since, there are 4k monitors at 120hz to 144hz that range from $899-$1500.
  7. In my opinion, you would have no problems running most games in 4k. Though, it just depends on what game it is and such. Do you care about having a 60hz refresh rate monitor. Or, do you want a higher refresh rate monitor. Also, do you care about the response times also? Also, in my opinion, having a 1440p monitor is better than a 4k display in terms of the balance in graphics and refresh rates and such.
  8. Like the others have said, probably get a 1440p monitor. If ya want a monitor for competitive games, get a 1080p 240hz monitor.
  9. What games are you wanting to play in 4k?
  10. This link should give you somewhat of an idea the difference between these 2 motherboards. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/compare/ASUS_PRIME_Z370-A_vs_ASUS_Z390-A/BHitems/1364721-REG_1438187-REG Though, I don't think that it'll be worth an extra 40 bucks.
  11. Though, on steam, if you look at the Valve Index, there's software on there that can tell you if your system can handle the Valve Index by downloading the program.
  12. The Index recommends the minimum to be a GTX 970, but I think you could do it. I've heard of some people actually using the RX 570 for VR. But, the VR games have to have low polys and be cel shaded to have pretty good frame rates.
  13. The best consumer VR headset right now, in my opinion is the Valve Index. With it's base stations, it is backwards compatible with other devices that supports lighthouse 2.0 sensors. Though, the full kit costs about a $1000. However, in my opinion, if you want a runner up to this, get the HTC Cosmos. It costs about $700. Though, if you want more cheaper VR headsets, then yes, go for the Oculus Rift S.
  14. Since I've never owned a liquid cooled GPU with a water block, what thermals can you expect from it compared to a stock fan cooled GPU, or a hybrid?
  15. Since I'm being reimbursed for my dead GTX 1080ti, I thought about buying a Aorus RTX 2080ti Xtreme Waterforce WB 11g. Though, I am quite unsure if it's actually worth $1500+ for overall cooling and performance compared to an Asus RTX 2080ti OC Edition, or a EVGA RTX 2080ti FTW3 Ultra Gaming ICX2. Could I get your suggestions on what I should consider when it comes to these cards. Or, what your opinions are on the best RTX 2080ti card that you can buy under $1600 for overall cooling and performance?
  16. Thanks for the suggestions guys, but I think I'll just send the card back to Square Trade to see what the problem is. I've tried all known solutions and the suggestions you guys gave me, but I'm afraid nothing will work. Hopefully, they will give me a new Asus GTX 1080ti OC Edition, if not then they will just repair it and ship it back. Thanks again guys for your recommendations.
  17. It was a new Asus GTX 1080ti OC Edition that I got, I made sure I directly downloaded the drivers from the Nvidia website and I reseated it in another slot. Nothing worked.
  18. When I got this GPU, I installed it's drivers correctly just like the manual told me to and when I booted up my system, it said the VGA card was not detected. Then after a couple of minutes, the drivers and GPU would start working. Though, after playing several games like Fallout 4, Black Ops 3, or VRChat, it ran smoothly. But, after 2 months of use, my whole system started crashing. When it would crash, my GPU's fans would get to 100% and my screen would turn black. Every time I would launch the games, it would crash. Then, after another crash, I turned on my system and the GPU would not boot up. I had to use my DisplayPort on my Motherboard to be able to see on my monitor. I went to the BIOS and I checked to see if my GPU posted in my PCIE slots, and it said that no VGA card was detected. Any suggestions on what I should do?
  19. When I try to boot up my PC, it tells me to install the VGA Driver and Aura Sync isn't available. I did all the normal steps in installing the GPU's driver directly from the Nvidia website. When I wiped out my PC to try again, I still would get the same result. Though, I should add, after I would get the error messages, it would go back from the 1280x720p to my 2560x1440p resolution after a few minutes. Then my graphics card boots up correctly. Could anybody give me suggestions on what I should do?
