  1. OMG OMGG!! Thanks !!! so freesync was enabled in my monitor and that got me up to 280 fps.. Thank you u absolute legend!!
  2. I have an i7-9700k and a rtx 2070. But when in games CPU is 40-60% utilised whereas the GPU is 40% utilised giving me about 150-180fps.....Someone please help me ;(
  3. Actually my case had a faulty or cheap 3.5mm jack. Everything was fixed as soon as i got a usb soundcard. Thanks for the help
  4. I've played out with the settings a lot but still my microphone is very quiet that barely picks up me speaking into it right in front of my mouth. Is it a problem that is software and driver related or is my 3.5mm jack screwed? Tried different headsets that work on my phone and friends laptop but never seems to work properly on mine.
  5. I'll try and do this as sonn as this happens again (as soon as pc has gets a black screen again. This video is really helpful Thanks a lot. Do you think I should do another clean installation of windows though??
  6. I had this problem before I overclocked but then I thought must be random thing so i just force restarted it and overclocked it. But then it happened agian when it was overclocked so I under swithced it back to factory clock speeds.
  7. Leaving that aside do have any idea to why i keep getting random black screens during non-intensive tasks such as web-browsing??
  8. Okay thank god... I was really worried cuz even in the graphs it didnt show a slanted line rather a straight line from 28 to 80 degrees C. Thanks a lot. Guess I was worried about nothing.
  9. I dont have the budget for the graphics card right now but my dad uses this computer a bit for coding as an architect and uses Visual Studio so we went for a integrated graphics until I can get a graphics card for a cheaper price
  10. I bought the prcosser from amazon and the mobo and PSU from ccl computers. On their website it still says the order is despatched so I am unable to return it even after contcting them
  11. I just built a new PC and I'm not sure if this is normal so I just wanted to make sure. I have Intel i7-9700k that instantly goes to 65 degrees C when stress tested. It is a direct spike increasing from 27-30 degrees C from idle and then ramps up to 65 in about 2-3 seconds. I'm using an AIO (Cooler Master MasterLiquid 240L) and have made sure that it is contact with the cpu. And then when I overclocked it to 5GHz it goes up to 80 in 2 seconds before starting to slowly make its way upto the 90s. I am really scared as this was to hot so reset all my Bios settings so that it isnt overclocked anymore. Is this normal or am i doing something wrong even for the factory clock.
  12. From time to time I get a black screen on my monitor. Doesn't lose signal but rather more like a black screen is being displayed. I tried switching from HDMI to DP and now back to HDMI and have noticed that this problem still persists. I tried updating the drivers and other stuff but still happens randomly. Like during web browsing, but never happened to me while playing games!?.still don't have a graphics card so i use the integrated graphics (Intel UHD 630) and play on 720p low settings. My monitor is 1080p @ 144Hz but since HDMI supports only upto 120Hz i put it at 120Hz and for the DisplayPort when connected I switch back to 144Hz. I read something about reducing this to a lower refresh rate so currently its at 1920*1080 @ 60Hz . Its a newly built computer around 2 weeks old. Also the cables that I am using came with the monitor. The Gamemax 850W PSU that I am using did not come with a mains cable. My monitor however came with 2, 1 UK style and the other European style. So I just used one of them for the PSU. Is this the cause because the psu cannot draw power suddenly when needed. I am really hoping that I don't have to return any of my parts. Any help is appreciated. 13. I recently been putting together a build that is gonna be used to replace my current laptop. After watching a few videos about radiators placement i chose to buy the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L to put in to Corsair carbide series SPEC-DELTA which on the website said it could fit a 360 or 280 mm rad in the front. I want to know if there will the the relevant fittings..etc to fit my 240mm AIO. Can somebody please help me as I am relatively new to this and have already placed orders for both of them. This is the pc I'mm building if anyone was interested and ill be adding more storage to it soon( PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU Intel Core i7-9700K 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor £334.99 @ Amazon UK CPU Cooler Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L RGB 66.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler £54.98 @ AWD-IT Motherboard MSI MPG Z390 GAMING EDGE AC ATX LGA1151 Motherboard £138.88 @ Box Limited Memory Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory £76.99 @ Amazon UK Storage Kingston A400 480 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive £46.29 @ PC World Business Video Card Asus GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB STRIX GAMING OC Video Card £513.48 @ Ebuyer Case Corsair SPEC-DELTA RGB ATX Mid Tower Case £57.95 @ AWD-IT Power Supply GameMax RGB 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply £74.99 @ Box Limited Monitor AOC C24G1 24.0" 1920x1080 144 Hz Monitor £172.98 @ Amazon UK Custom Rii RK100 7 Color Rainbow LED Backlit Mechanical Feeling USB Wired Gaming Keyboard - Black £15.29 @ Amazon UK Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total £1486.82 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-10-06 11:25 BST+0100 Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L AIO link(https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/cpu-liquid-coolers/masterliquid-ml240l-rgb/) Case link(https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/Categories/Products/Cases/Mid-Tower-ATX-Cases/Carbide-Series-SPEC-DELTA-RGB-Tempered-Glass-Mid-Tower-ATX-Gaming-Case-—-Black/p/CC-9011166-WW)
