    You can download MSI Afterburner. Yes, but usually only if temperatures are too high, as graphics cards have limits to prevent you damaging the cards. The GPU will perform better due to the faster speeds. That depends on the overclock, current temperatures, case, cooling, and other factors.

    Currently on C-Die running at 3000MHz 16-18-18-36. I spent a day overclocking them a while ago and got 3266MHz 14-15-15-36 @1.5v with a ton of minor tweaking to the rest of the latency. It boots to windows but any heavy load and an insta-crash.

    Remember to quote or tag (like @oliveruk) so we can be notified to your replies. As far as I know, Rig Reboot hasn’t even been confirmed yet, so you may be 13 by the time it shows up again. If I remember correctly a PC was smashed just shipping to Florida back in 2017(?).

    Age limit was 13 and above, with parental permission. I can’t remember if they had outside entries, but shipping the PC would be a nightmare.

    Missed out on the first day as to be truthful I was busy and completely forgot! Tried to fold as much as possible the next 4 though and managed to fold for around 13 hours on Friday. Realistically the highest I could’ve placed was around 55 or so even if I folded 24/7. Congrats to all the winners!

    CPUs are non-overclockable, RAM is overclockable afaik.

    That isn’t the best but it should be fine for a 3400g and your RAM. This is a decent guide for overclocking basics.

    If you download a program called CPU-Z, and change to the ‘main board’ tab, what does it say the motherboard is?

    At the moment you could try and up the speed on your current kit if you want to attempt to fix it without spending money.

    That’s your biggest issue. If you get a 2x8GB 3200MHz kit and use it instead of your current 1x16GB 2133MHz it should fix your problem.

    Ah yes, because you don’t get your luxury item these people are the scum of the Earth along with anyone who buys from them. They are literally taking advantage of the fact that people are willing to pay more for an item then what they themselves can buy it at - nothing wrong with that.

    In what world does GTA V, a game released nearly 8 years ago, have to be 104GB to download? Most of that size is online rubbish that should be optional to download because I have no interest in joining a server just to be kicked by an 11 year old with a mod menu because Rockstar cannot be assed to fix their shitty code that is exploitable by literally anyone.

    I would definitely be interested in trying to curate a list of all badges I can find. I remember someone getting a custom badge due to a mix up in Floatplane payments I think? It’s obscure and weird stuff like this I like to investigate and make note of it.

    Does anyone have a list of Badges earn able on the forums? I know the majority of the F@H and BOINC ones but there seems to be a ton of old ones from 2013/2014 with some weird topics (blood donation?) and would be interested in them all.

      With the badges mentioned above you would have about half the total badges, were it not for the personal badges out there.

      I only remember them from the office campaign, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are more.

       

      I'll take a look tomorrow on the wayback machine to see if I can find that old badge list, that should get your started on most badges out there.

       

      As for current obscure badges, I am not sure what is out there (I also remember now I think there is an FPC Dev badge and some more, I'll link them tomorrow).

      There might be more badges out there, but I think this should cover the vast majority of badges on the forum.

      So there are at least 34+ badges out there (just counting the ones listed here), with at least 33+ in circulation (the F@H fanatic badge is not in circulation yet, there have only been 3 F@H events where badges were given out, while that fanatic badge requires participating in 5).

       

      P.S. if your profile is linked here, that is for no particular reason other than it has a badge that wasn't on the list yet 😄
