  1. Hey all, I was playing the new Warzone on Modern Warfare with some friends. I only had discord and the game itself open. All of a sudden while I was playing, the video and sound both went off at the same time and the computer stopped responding. Nothing I could do could make it come back. I turned the PC off and back on and the video and sound was still gone. Meanwhile the lights on my keyboard and mouse also were not turning on. I have repeatedly tried the ol' turn it off and on again and to no avail. The PC itself is turning on, fans spinning, lights on, HDD spinning, yet no display and no sound. The PC is about 8 months old with parts purchased maybe a month before that. Haven't had any issues with it before. Drivers had been installed for the GPU as was advised. No dodgy/illegal content had been downloaded or websites had been visited. Just social media and it only had games from Blizzard and Steam installed on it and nothing else other than Radeon software and similar stuff for mice/keyboard config. Here's what I've tried so far, all to no avail: turning it off and on removing both drives (unplugged from PSU and from motherboard) in an attempt for it to boot into the BIOS plugging into different displays plugging in a USB with the Windows Media Creation tool installed that was used to install Windows 10, all downloaded legit from Windows website and installed using their software on another computer rebuilding the entire PC PC still turned on with the same issues tested turning it on with each of the drives individually going in as built I know it's not an issue with my monitor which is a 27" 144hz Samsung monitor. I've tried plugging the GPU into two other displays with the same issue. Also tried different HDMI ports on the screen. I'm plugging the GPU in through an HDMI cable and I have tried multiple ones. I have three display port slots on my GPU but no display port cable. Any advice to as what possibly happen, what component is wrong, or what else to try would be much appreciated. 2. Kind of besides the point... I'm asking for any solutions to this issue rather than having to fork out and buy a new one.
  3. I'll put it simply. I've got a mini-itx build with 92mm radiator and fans as I liked the small build and was convenient at the time. Now I'm not in need of a small build and I've not been happy with the airflow. I'm getting a micro-atx case but the majority if not all seem to only support 120mm rads minimum. Any recommendations for what I could do to use this radiator and fan that I have that are both 92mm in a case that supports 120mm without having to buy a new AIO cooler? Thanks.
  4. Still nothing. This time it comes up with the message saying there was an error reading disk files and click control alt delete to restart... This is hopeless.
  5. I've just attempted this today to no avail. Library computers are either windows 7 or windows 10. Windows 7 ones wouldn't work or even let me get the media creation tool. Windows 10 computers needed an admin password to even run it once it was downloaded. Going to try format the USB as NTFS on here and install all the files then take it home and see if it works... I have my doubts though. Going to have to find someone with a windows computer I suppose.
  6. What do you mean by minimum booting? I don't have windows installed at all to boot... All I can do is get to the bios.
  7. To be perfectly honest. I hadn't thought of that... I'll look into it and see. I have my doubts though as the library computers I have access to have somewhat limited capabilities. As in you don't really get access to files, more just online stuff. I'll resort to that if I can't fix it soon.
  8. Ok. I'll try looking for them now. Please let me know if you remember them. I'll keep trying.
  9. How would I do that? My Macbook itself won't format a USB as NTFS. Got a 3rd party app to do it and then my laptop wouldn't let me put any files on it because it probably can't read it given it can't format it.
  10. Yeup, that sounds about right. But rather one over and over again. When I had it formatted at fat32 and used unetbootin it was the install menu. Now with exfat it's the blinking line. How'd you fix it? I'll go try this now. How should I try format the USB?
  11. Thank you. I'm trying to install this on a brand new PC. Has a a Gigabyte X570 mobo with a Ryzen 3700x. Also an 1TB M.2 SSD and a 2TB seagate hard drive. Edit: also an XFX 5700XT
  12. My second paragraph....??? I've formatted it, the whole drive, as fat32. Put the files on. The maximum size for fat32 is 4gb the install.wim file is over 4gb so it doesn't go on properly. I had to force it on with unetbootin. I even tried copying all the files individually. Already tried all that.
  13. Hey there, So I've been trying to install windows 10 from a USB boot drive using the latest iso file for widows 10 64 bit from the windows website. I'm going to start this off by saying the only computer I have available that works is my Macbook Pro laptop. I tried formatting the USB as Fat32 and then using unetbootin to make my USB a boot drive however that didn't work as the instal.wim file is bigger than 4gb so errors occur saying the file can't be found on the new PC when trying to install windows. I tried formatting the USB as NTFS but Macs for some reason can't read that or format it like that (so had to use 3rd party software to format it, but even when I did, I couldn't put files on it.) Now I have resorted to formatting the USB as exFat as the max file size is far larger. I plugged the USB into my computer and this time it was finally detected by the bios. I set it as the first drive in the boot sequence and restarted. Now all that appears is a black screen with a white blinking underscore ( _ ). Keyboard and mouse unresponsive. Nothing I can do. Any advice please? Thanks.
  14. No worries. Thanks for you help anyway. Going to redo the USB drive and give it another go.
