  10. You need a 12v rgb connector on your motherboard. Your motherboard I think has 1 x 4 pin rgb connector, but check the manual. You may not need a rgb/fan controller if you have enough headers on your motherboard. The quote is from the quick start guide pdf, You can find the full guide with diagrams here. Your rgb header on the motherboard can be found on page 36 of the manual. https://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe/mb/E7B98v1.2.pdf

  15. Considering it is a 9 Yr old laptop the heat output should not be that much I have used this https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00YCMR04Q/ref=cm_sw_r_wa_apa_i_z34JEb4C280BD It works fine for low power components such an my Intel celeron 540, however t would not use it for performance composts due its 1.8 W/m-k compared to Noctua or Thermo grizzly at 5 W/m-k
  16. Just be aware that due the amount of extra stuff in the laptop you may be restricting airflow over the other components. VRMs, Ram and chipset sometimes just need a little bit of airflow for cooling and longevity.
