Howdy folks, I have an NXZT H440 case and in the specs say I've been looking into replacement fans as one the bearing is ruined and they are a bit loud, so I've been checking prices of the Noctua NF-S12A but they came with all 3 flavors and I have no idea what to get case contains a PWM controller, should I buy the PWM fans as well? or I'm ok with FLX (or ULN) ? should I even consider other brands like Crossair?

I removed my DAC (AudioEngine D1) and it still does the weird noises with the cable directly connected to the computer headphone jack... will try using my phone as audio source to see if I get the same (to remove the computer out of the question) what have you find out?

@Berko142 100% true ... believe me, I have 2 TN panels!!! 24'', 2560x1440, 1ms, 144Hz ... sounded amazing, I even bought 2!! but then ... Seeing movies bled my eyes, games are ok when they are moving ... soon I stop or in game menu ... ohhhh... my eyes! TN Panels are terrible doing degradé coloring, and it's just bad bad bad... I would choose (err, I will) a VA panel, as IPS is very good for people that do video/photo editing and color corrections ... Yes, IPS panels you get get better color reproduction overall ... but not with good VA Panels, and yes, no doubts, better image in wider angles ... but are you thinking of siting down aside and watch the screen? or havin' the screen do be a "public" display where you want to see it from afar and maybe side ? if it's mainly to see in front of the screen, why spend money on a IPS panel where we can get a great VA Panel for much less? IPS: + better color reproduction + better colors across wider view angles - refresh rates - response times VA: + better refresh rates + better contrast - not good view angles - color reproduction lower than IPS TN: don't even look at those ... I have 2... do. not. buy. them. if you want a screen for gaming without spending much: VA panels will delivery better 2 things: contrast (HDR!) and refresh rates (great for FPS games)... if you want for video/photo editing and color correction ... IPS! Sorry, I'm not into 27'' panels ... I only did my homework with 34'' and larger.

those are not exactly ultrawide

You will get better features with VA panels, IPS's have better image across wider angles (then again, we're always looking in front, and the curvature makes you don't get far from the edges)... as today, I would rather have an VA panel, you save the money and you get better refresh rates and contrast levels than IPS panel... for the same amount of money or course... don't wanna get challenged by a X35 screen

I believe that if the LG would be correctly calibrated, it would have better specs... some results are to way off to be "correctly calibrated", I think the tests are simply "factory screens"... but remember, it's all about what are you doing with it, video/photo editing where you need colors to be precise vs video and gaming where you really don't need that precision to be perfect!

@Jordanvt45 I just found this when looking at a screen review: starting at 02:43 he actually had a faulty cable and that was why he could not enable HDR on Windows 10. ohh, and skip to 05:39 when he talks about Windows HDR and that he had to turn it off...

Mostly developing (web, windows, mac, iot) It's what I have at work, and I hate the TN panels I have at home ... no gradient can be reproduced and I see a lot of movies... I will still have the two panels, I might just put them up to have more screen space for something like dashboards... TN panels suck on gradients: That's how I see movies (even Youtube... no kidding!) - the gradient and when in Game menu ... arrghhhh!!! ... (i'm back, uff) After I re-found PowerToys, now for Windows10.. I fall in love for the big screens once again (3 years ago I demanded the office to buy me a Dell 34'', and I use that every day since). I know my pixel real-estate will drop as 2 x 2560 > 3440, but I tend to use only one screen (Visual Studio) anyway, and it's always off-center (either right or left monitor), or simply try to sell them...

Hi guys, So I'm in the market to replace my 2xDELL S2417DG (TN panel, 1ms, 2560x1440) for a wide screen (34'' minimum) As a developer, I work every single day at the computer and I play at night, mostly World Of Tanks, but also other adventure games like TombRaider alike... (not a CS/Dota/Battlefield fan though) I'm searching for a minimum of a 34'' screen, with at least 3440x1440 and around 100Hz refresh rate for the gaming part,... I also, not looking into Samsung monitors, cause the reviews suck, there's always some greenish or death pixels after a while and I really do not want to go that road. please avoid TN panel ... I have 2... I know what is like to live with them after 1 year with them, I'm in the market for a VN panel now ... movies are terrible! games you don't feel it that bad, but when you're in the menus or something "still" ... ohh boy

if you're willing to drop the refresh rate to 100Hz, there's a lot of options ... if you are looking into that page stats, you can see that a lot of numbers are low because the screen was not correctly calibrated... but hey ... as long as you're happy!
