Is there a way to disable google from giving search results based on my location? i'm doing some research for school, and i keep getting results from unis in my country, and i dont want that,i tried to disable it in the account settings, but i still get the same results regardless, it still says "Algeria" in the bottom left, and i still get results with my a .dz link from unis in my country, and its kinda annoying

try using a different drive/ssd and see if that is the problem, go through the process of elemination and you might be able to find the cluprit

okay, i fixed it the fan, dunno how, but i did, i disassembled the entire card,cleaned it, put new thermal paste, and put it back together, it runs perfectly, and temps are down by like 15C, its maxing out at 67 C instead of the 83 it was on before

I currently have an issue with one of my GPU fans that isn't running, I have the card disassembled, and I was wondering if it's possible to plug the fans directly to a motherboard fan header just to test if it works or no, can I do that directly or do I need some sort of adapter ? It's a gigabyte G1 gtx 1060, the fan info is DC 12V 0.5 AMP

i dont think its a software issue, i updated to the latest driver, and tried to set my fan rpm to 100% but it still didnt run, i'll try and disassemble and clean it, maybe that will bring it back to life

ok, so i just took a peek at my GPU, and i noticed one of my fans isn't turning, temps were at around 77c ingame, i think it was like this a while ago, maybe in the summer, i remember that the card reached 83 degrees when i was playing Metro Exodus, but i just chocked it up to summer heat, i can buy a new fans for it and they are cheap, but they will take close to 2 months to arrive, but i dont know if its gonna be worth it or no, any recommendations ? should i be worried? or is it just fine with 1 fan?

no clue, he actually hasnt responded to that question, i'm just taking that as a base, but he will probably upgrade it later on with the rest of his system, or he has something a bit better, but with his current system, i doubt he can run anything above 1080 at 60

i made a pretty good overall system for him, but he wants to go high end now, and upgrade the rest early next year, but i'll try and convince him to get a place holder if he cant find the cards

yeah, the bottleneck is expected and accounted for, he wont feel it on his panel, 1080p at 60ghz, he will be running games at least at twice the fps, so yeah, and yes, i'm having him check his case to see if the card will actualy fit in there, the last issue here is actually getting either of the cards at all hahaha, that is up to him on how he goes about doing that. Hey all, a friend of mine has a prebuilt system, he was planning to upgrade it completely but then decided to just upgrade his graphics card to one of the high end ones this year rtx 3080 or an rx 6800 xt, and then upgrade the rest of the system next year, from my knowledge, it should work with his system, might suffer a slight bottleneck, but he wouldnt feel it at those high frame rates with his monitor anyways, here are the specs for his current pc: i7 4790 cpu, 16gb of ram, gtx 750, on a m52ad_m12ad_a_f_k31ad motherboard, from what i can find, the board has a PCI-e gen 3 x16 slot, so it should work, he will need to upgrade his power supply, he is getting a 850W 80+ gold one. do you guys think he will be unable to run the card due to some limitation with his system or is he okay? i do expect some sort of bottelneck from the cpu, but thats okay with him

i'm trying to sync the clipboard between my android phone and my PC, but i'm lost, i tried the app Alt-c at first, and it works when i copy something on the PC and paste it on the phone, but when i do the reverse, says it cant find anything on my phone, is there a way to do this with windows natively, like syncing my phone and pc together, i have the phone companion app for windows on my phone, but i dont see an option to do the clipboard thing, and when i look it up, it requires me like a completely different phone launcher, and i dont want to do that.

Which one is the correct Vcore value? the one i'm seeing on ryzen master or the cpu Vcore i see on the HMWmonitor or the CPU VDD voltages ? someone please explain what is what and which one am i supposed to be looking at for Vcore values?

totally agree, i bought the hyper 212 turbo led ( i couldnt find one with rgb so i'm stuck with red led and i have blue fans ), but it has push pull config, and temps went waaaay down, like by 30 C + from 100+/105+ ( PC turned off due to high heat) to like 75 C when i used the same render

i'm going to give CTR a try and see how it looks, and i bought myself a proper cooler, Cooler master Hyper 212 turbo, and temps went waaaay down, from like 10+ to like 75 with the same rendered image

i have not done that, i'm not that experience with overclocking, just the basic stuff from what i saw on jay's videos on overclocking, i just set the ratio and Vcore, played with them a bit untill they were stable, but other than that, i havent check yet, i'm still waiting for my new cooler before i mess with it anymore, i should be getting it tomorrow and i'll do a bios update as well, maybe that will do something

yeah, i didnt even bother letting the PC bootup with those settings after i saw that, i just wanted to check what voltage my bios recommended to run it at 4.2, as soon as i saw that , i immediatly turned scaled it back down, i managed to get 4 at 1.33 i think, but i dont know what is wrong, if my CPU is really that much of a rotton potato, or if my bios is messed up or something

i just tried to do a 4.2 all core and i left the Vcore voltage set on auto, and then i restarted the PC and went into the bios to check what voltage it chose, and it had put 1.425 volts, do you think my bios is kinda borked as well?, i think its the first one that enabled the 3k series on b450 mobos

ahhh ok, mine was the old stock for sure, bought it a few months after it was released, maybe i'll save up money and get the new 5600X when that comes out,but i dont know if i'll be able to feel a tangible difference in performance between even if i could clock it at a higher speed
