  1. i already own the game, but i lost the steam account i had it on, along with a bunch of games.
  2. okay, so i've been playing shadow of mordor for the past few days, and everything was going smoothly, but when i tried to start it today, i got an erro code "0xc0000142 application cant start correctly", i tried reinstalling it a couple of times on different drivers, tried out some of the stuff that i found online, but nothing seems to work. if anyone knows of a way to make it work please let me know. P.S: i have the cracked version of the game, so i cant do a file verify ( i lost my old steam account )
  3. ah, it didnt load for me at all, i'm having fps drops as well, and i cant seem to find the route of the problem, and your issue seems similar to mine, so might try what aDoomGuy suggested and see if it works for me.
  4. the video doesnt load, so its hard to tell what is happening
  5. not sure, but its probably fine if it hasnt reached the copper underneath, covering it up is just for safty reasons for later on
  6. its best to cover it up somehow, like AppleFreak said
  7. hmm, does it run fine? having any problems with it?
  8. can we get a pic of the full motherboard?
  9. give us more details, take a pic of the full motherboard and point out where the chip is, and tell us what motherboard is that. oops, sorry, didnt mean to Quote you
  10. thats the only one available here, and its not that bad, i used worse than this onen and its not the cause of my problem either, but do you have any idea what might be causing this issue? Edit: my bad my bad, i miss spelled the name, its Aures Eco Power, not Aero, not the best, but not the worst
  11. Hi, i'll try my best to describe the problem i get some weird fps drops every hours / 2 hours , the system runs perfectly fine, i can watch videos, play games or do whatever i want, but after some time passes, i get a brief window of like 10 seconds or so of FPS drops, doesnt matter if i'm playing games or just watching videos, then it goes back to normal , and it happens again after 1 to 2 hours after, its been happening for a while now, at first i thought it was my gpu, a gtx 1050, so i upgraded it to a gtx 1060 6gb, it still happens then i thought maybe its my PSU, so i swapped it out for one with higher wattage, it still happens, then i blamed my hard drive, since its the oldest component in my computer, so i unplugged it, no change, then i though maybe it was the ram slots fault, so i swapped my memory to different slots, no change, and now i'm out of ideas and out of components that i can swap out, the only thing left is my ssd, cpu and the motherboard, but they are all relatively new, its been less than 5 months since i got this computer, it all started occuring after i did a windows update,a while back, i dont remember if i did a fresh windows install or no, but i do remember that i did like a system revert, i dont remember what its called, and i reverted everything to stock settings in the bios, but i havent updated the bios yet .i managed to record it, the sound goes all static and distorted first, than its the fps and general system responsiveness. and the more it acoors, the more severe it gets, the example shown here is after i changed the position on my memory, so it starts slowly, than after it happens a few times its gets worse and worse and lasts longer and longer. here is the video My specs: CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 ( stock cooler) Motherboard;Asus Tuf B450 plus Gaming Memory: 16 gb Forza Giel 3200 Mhz Hard Drive: WD 500 GB ( i dont know the exact name, its rather old but not the issue) SSD: Kingston 240 GB SSD GPU: Gigabyte G1 GTX 1060 6GB PSU: Aures Eco Power 650W White Windows 10 64 bit everything is brand new and bought from an IT store sealed and in its original packaging except for the GPU which is second hand but in good condition.
  12. i'm out of ideas, if you got any old hardware, try and do a process of elimination and see what is causing the problem, and if everything is covered under warrenty, then return it
  13. did you try a fresh install of windows?
