  1. Great that you want to build you first PC! First of all I would recommend you to check out PC Part Picker and decide if you want to go Intel or AMD. Lots of great LTT videos to help you make that choice. (look for recent videos because it keeps on changing) For the rest of your questions I think there are others that can help you out better! (in better English).
  2. Okay thanks, (unlike my fan) that sound good. I guess I have to look for grease that is not conductive? I think finding a replacement might be hard. It is quite unique. It is also pretty hard to get to even with the shroud off. The reason I looked into it again was because my desk was shaking because of it. Maybe one blade is unbalanced.
  3. Hi, I bought a Asrock x570 Taichi about 1.5 years ago and it is out of warranty. When warranty was just about to run out (now 1y ago) the sbfan started rattling as you can hear in the video. It used to be just at startup and under heavy load but now it is constantly doing it above 40°c. I tried cleaning it but it is quite difficult. I have to admit, I was getting lazy and filtered the sound out in my head for 6 months. Did not know it got this bad with the front panel off. Asrock won’t help me so does anyone have a suggestion? It is starting to get extremely annoying and worrying. Thanks awesome people! 1060321062_SBfanissue.mov
  4. Thanks for the help! It really helps me out a lot! I didn’t know the CPU goes up to full volt/clock in the bios. I am pretty sure the cooler is installed correctly, even looked back the security camera footage to know for sure?. I’ll try checking the temps in the OS (And install it) first thing in the morning, it’s 03:30 already here in the Netherlands. I’ll let you all know if temps are any better. Thanks again!:)
  5. Thanks for your comment! tried that allready, all the information above is with the side panels off. Sorry for not including.
  6. Hi hero’s of the LTT forum! I just finished build my first PC in a long time. however, when I opened the UEFI I noticed CPU temperatures between 48-52C. this seems a bit high to me since I am using a pretty good AIO. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? I am too scared to install Windows with these temps. these are most the components I am using: Ryzen 9 3900X NZXT Kraken x62 Asrock X570 Taichi (with idle SB temps: 67) MSI 2070 Super gaming x trio corsair crystal 570x case If there’s someone who can help me that would mean a lot to me! Thanks!:)
