  1. So, I was pouring cola in to the glass and 1 drop of cola jumped out and gone through upper cover and smashed on gpu backplate. My gpu has square cut in backplate and drop hit on backplate next to the square but I saw that little dots were in this square. My gpu was and is still working without any problems but im pretty scared what can happen next. What should I do and should I be really aware and careful or if it didnt cause any damage i can be calm right now? I'm little scared because of sugar and some acids in cola and im worried that after time or even when cleaning out it will cause damage and make way for electrocut.
  2. Ok I get it. Do you know whether cablemod products are sometimes on sale? Because for now I even have money to afford my whole build even with cablemod, but I thought that maybe it is worth to use OEM’s and claim cablemods for Christmas or something like that. Thanks for advice, I really appreciate it.
  3. I need to check, but is it really worth to buy cables instead of extensions?
  4. Yeah I know that generally most of electronics are made in China but I meant that the PSU is something like no name, dangerous Chinese brand thing that you don’t know what to expect from it.
  5. I’m not tech expert but same as @samcool55 and @Jpo_Fett I think that it is not good idea to put PSU like this in build especially when good, not high end PSU’s are available for good money and something better than no name should last longer than warranty says. The weird thing (if I can call it like that in case of no name PSU that is from China) is that as I know, declared wattage should be equal to Amper x Voltage and in this case 23A x 12V = 276w so that’s the power you get, but in that case you can’t even be sure about that. In my opinion going for cheap, unknown PSU’s isn’t worth it.
  6. Yeah I’m sure that OEM ones are good to go with but I also care about aesthetics and because in my country I can’t get cablemod cables for my PSU, I thought about extensions but I’m not sure if they will not decrease performance or affect badly on PSU.
  7. I think I don’t need much longer cables but It’s about aesthetics because the stock ones looks not that well. The SE ones I can’t buy because they aren’t available in any store in my country (only c series) and even if they were available, they would be 3 times more expensive, so that’s why I’m thinking about extensions.
  8. Hi, I’m new at the forum, but whatever. I just wanted to ask you if I plug cable extensions like these ones https://cablemod.com/product/cablemod-pro-modmesh-cable-extension-kit-carbon/ to my default/OEM/stock (I’m not sure how to call them) cables in Seasonic Focus Plus 750 Gold will it increase ripples or affect badly on the performance of the PSU? I’m asking because stock cables feels pretty bad especially since I am about to build pc that need to look good. Please tell me something about it and tell me if I need to worry about using extensions exactly in this PSU. Thanks for answeres and sorry if I wrote something bad, I just wanna tell that I’m from Poland so I don’t use English that much.
