  1. Here is the BSoD dmp file and PerfMon report btw I captured the perfmon report while the stuttering was happening. Logs.zip
  2. Thanks for the advice, but it has somehow broken out of the loop after the fifth iteration... I would still like to find out what the cause of the stuttering is. Does anyone have an idea what it could be?
  3. So basically, when I boot my PC it stutters on startup (video attached). This stuttering vanishes after I run something like chrome, discord, or a game. I'm not sure what about these applications that cause the stuttering to go away - maybe it's the power draw or GPU acceleration. This stuttering does not come back until I reboot my PC. If I shut down or restart my PC while experiencing this stuttering behavior, it will try for 10-20 mins and result in a Driver Power State Failure BSoD. This has happened since I built my PC two years ago. The issue is that when windows updates, it will sometimes reboot as part of the process. This causes the stuttering behavior, BSoD, and failure to update. Right now my PC is stuck in a boot loop between reverting update changes and the BSoD. Unfortunately I cannot provide logs right now since my PC is stuck in a boot loop. Any help would be greatly appreciated! 4. If the RAM is not listed on the compatibility list, that just means the manufacture has not created a profile for it right? If I create a custom profile for the ram I got, will it fix the issue assuming that the RAM is the culprit?
  5. Hello, I build my new PC about 3 weeks ago (specs listed below). I have been experiencing black screens and BSoDs quite often while doing just about anything on my PC. Also I got an artifact today while opening the League of Legends client - this is the only artifact I have seen thus far. Everything is stock, and I have tried numerous things to try and solve the problem. I tried updating my BIOS, reinstalling windows entirely, re-installing drivers using DDU, resetting all my BIOs settings, making sure my bios PCI were set to gen 3, and down-clocking my memory to 2666 MHz. I ran a GPU stress test for 30 mins and the temps never topped 85c. I ran a memory stability test for an hour using HCI memtest, and no issues were found. The specific blue screen code is VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR. Other times the screen goes black, my monitor loses input, media stops playing, and I need to restart my PC. I looked at the windows reliability report to see if it had picked it up, and it did. Here are some screenshots (ironically I got a BSoD while I was putting these together ?), these were from yesterday: Black Screen Crash Other Black Screen Crash VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR BSoD Here is the full reliability history: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hjZbl_SUio1GlyK7lwcXbhblul3hDJA9/view?usp=sharing Also, starting from yesterday, my cursor has been lagging around when I first boot my computer. When I open chrome or another application, then the lagging stops. I believe it has something to do with GPU utilization, but other than that I have no idea what could cause this... maybe someone has an explanation. Thank you in advance! 6. Thanks for the suggestions to get a replacement card, I will contact Newegg soon. I do still have a week though, so I would like to still try and solve this problem if it is not a hardware issue. If anyone can help out I would appreciate it greatly! Also, I was mistaken. My return period ends in 5 days, not the warranty.
  7. The card had 3 display ports and 1 HDMI, I only have an HDMI cord available to me right now. Also I don't think it has to do with that because i also lose PC functionality when the screen goes black after a couple seconds.
  8. Alright, I would still like to diagnose the issue if possible. I will contact them today though! Also i'm not sure if I can get a replacement, as Newegg does not have the card in stock right now.
  9. Hello, I built my PC about 3 weeks ago and I have been experiencing some weird issues. During the first couple of weeks of using my PC I was getting the video scheduler internal error BSoD about 2-3 times a day. Also my screen would occasionally go black for a second or two, media would stop playing for a couple of seconds, then the screen would turn back on again and media would resume. I tried updating my BIOS, reinstalling windows entirely, re-installing drivers using DDU, and resetting all my BIOs settings. None of these made any difference. I looked to Reddit's AMD troubleshooting page for help, I have linked the post below (I have a lot more detail in that post as well!). I ended up disabling A-XMP and changed all my ram settings to auto except for DRAM frequency which I set to 2666. I also preformed a memory stability test to make sure my ram was stable, and the test detected no issues. I thought after doing this, it resulted in less BSoDs and black screens... However, this week i'm experiencing a new issue; i'm no longer seeing the video scheduler internal error BSoD, instead i'm getting a black screen different to the one mentioned above. Now, the screen goes black and my monitor says that there is no input. I can still hear sound and do things for about 6 seconds, then the PC becomes unresponsive. The fans and LEDs in the case are still on, and when I try to turn off my PC using the power button it does not turn off. I have to wait a while before I can press it again for anything to happen. Also sometimes I boot my PC, and there is no input, so I need to restart it. When I look at the windows reliability report, I get the same "hardware error" I showed in my Reddit post.
