Personally, I found that if you throw any Nvidia Turing line of GPUs in your server, you can transcode any video file with ease and have it look great (including 4K but careful about HDR content, it will look washed out). I paired an atom CPU with a GTX 1660 and after patching the driver to allow more than 2 video encodes, was able to transcode 5 4K steams at the same time.

Good question lol I need to something to replace my main PC first. I guess I could just try it in the main PC and see if It boots now that I think about it. Thanks again!

Thanks for the replys! It was unbuffered, the part number is CT102472BD160B. I remember this because the c2750 was extremely picky about memory.

My old Asrock Rack c2750D4i finally died and I'm thinking of using my current main desktop (a 3930K) as a replacement unraid build. I want to salvage as much as I can from the c2750D4i but I had a question regarding mixed ram types. My 3930K is using quad channel DDR3 (4x4GB) and the ram I would like to savage is 8GB x 2 DDR3 ECC dual channel memory. Will this even boot? Thanks in advance!

I have Shaw in Winnipeg, MB and they would not let me use my own modem even though I had my own. It had to be one supplied by them.
