Cbeeman replied to nicklmg's topic in LTT Releases
Found this channel when i was looking for a review on the Asus G55vw gaming notebook. I found so much more. I found a hobby, a passion, and a career. I have since gotten really into custom computers and have built 24 to date, for myself, friends, and school. I also plan to go into Computer Science and Engineering. You and Tek Syndicate changed the course of my life.- 22,217 replies

So I came across this ad on the tech quickie youtube channel, and though I wasn't personally offended, I know this isn't the image Linus wishes to project. They even talked about it on the livestream. Just thought I would bring it to their attention.

I love my fluance sx6s, they are amazing. (thank you zeos) a dac and good amp are required for any setup. I have the cheapo behringer dac and a topping tp21 amp, I like the amp because it gives me a good headphone amp too, so I could get the cheap dac. Check out reddit.com/r/zeos for suggestions, he also has great youtube reviews and responds really quickly on his subreddit. So far his recommendations have never steered me wrong.

With high impedance headphones like those, that dac doesn't make too much of a difference, the fiio e10 would be great, but if you ever want full speakers, I would say get the cheap berhinger dac and somehing like the topping tp21 which has a great headphone amp built in.

What coin would be best to mine?
Cbeeman replied to spwath's topic in Folding@home, Boinc, and Coin Mining
Go to the dogemining subreddit there is a link in the sidebar. Because mining files are bat files among other strange types of files they are often flagged as viruses by mistake -
Here is the link if you are on windows. http://www.minedogecoin.com/cgminer-3.7.2-windows.zip

Some of the korean monitors have had these for a little while now. Before that they have been overclockable, got mine to 90 hz But that price is impressive. . http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-YAMAKASI-Catleap-Q270-2B-Extreme-OC-IPS-1440p-120Hz-Monitor-Perfect-Pixel-/140919957473?pt=Computer_Monitors&hash=item20cf7be7e1 (note this is not the cheapest there is)

I modded my blackwidows led color and painted the backplate which required removing all the switches, not as much work as everyone says. Im pretty expeirenced with a soldering iron, . but it took me about 45 minutes or so to get them all off and a little less to put them back on. Only thing is you have to put fresh solder on the switches to remove them because of the industrial solder, it melts it more quickly.

Just my 2 cents, but i think the new intro is too long. Been watching your videos for a while, intro in general is fine but espiecially with that music I keep thinking its a commercial. Also i really want to make a small form factor itx build with this.

https://products.butterflylabs.com/homepage-new-products/1-gh-cloud-hosted-bitcoin-hashing-power.html Butterfly labs has a new service up for preorder where you pay $10.83 per gigahash. Does this seem like a good way for me to get into mining? I know it doesn't start for a few months. I'm thinking of throwing $100 at this. Is it 100 per month or per year, it isn't clear on the website. When I look at a bitcoin calculator it says 100 gh/s would earn me about $1600 per month at current rates. Does this seem like a good idea?
