I'd argue it should be 32GB, but overall its fair to say 16GB dual-channel is a bare minimum.

    Alright I understand.
If you have the power bricks, all you need is the power cords.

Standard 3 pin/prong 'kettle' leads is what you need.
Power cords for Clevo's in the UK generally come with 5/10 amp fuses installed also, although if you can't acquire those 13 amps one's will suffice.

You can get them from the usual places, Ebay, AliExpress etc....
Something like this would be fine: https://www.ebay.com/itm/175118532874?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110013%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIMRXI%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20201210111452%26meid%3Dc844cc2b97704a06a243134985c320c2%26pid%3D101196%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D185831156839%26itm%3D175118532874%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D4429486%26algv%3DPromotedRVIPbooster%26brand%3DBrand&_trksid=p4429486.c101196.m2219&amdata=cksum%3A175118532874c844cc2b97704a06a243134985c320c2|enc%3AAQAIAAABAJsbtOKd5uIU0OgsJNCgXCNdrYtP8T8IRI7ijYV%2BEaymymc0OgwV2KJG14zIC98j0XRFbDCFEofoJ%2BvACPjlsZmYG65EXtnfjIlPJ6mba4KEWspgsRMP5tqi8MicEs%2FKB4q0lcmdAGh35Lg63gw3ApVJc%2FYC3IXzO37RuxcP6W2YgUpJQP%2Fa%2FziYu3WXHaUHa5KXVDX82epvZoaFFIlOgcVpGpqJu4wUMwXspmtXkqndKpm00OuPSNK95xzzLy%2BVgdbJrQESY51wsfyObsvLMNdzwT%2F3%2FYx3qSYiLiJColuiQcigWFyJrKoAMfawiOENJQvWEHoo%2BaKMQPCUC6pxO6U%3D|ampid%3APL_CLK|clp%3A4429486

I recently downloaded a cracked version of software that i had paid a lifetime license for so i have it as a backup for if they ever take down their activation servers or if i ever need to be without internet for an extended period of time (because despite it being something that should work fine without internet, it needs to re-auth twice a month...)

So yes, i see that as justified, i paid for a life time license, i dont' give a shit what their ToS or EULA say about needing to phone home to their servers to confirm i have a license...

Rolling2405 reacted to poochyena in Linus should travel to poorer countries to clean up his image and level his ego. International version of Scrapyard wars maybe?
To be blunt, I feel like Linus, over the past year or so, has turned into the stereotypical self-absorbed rich person. I believe its part of why the scandal happened recently. So I would like to see Linus travel to a country with a lower GDP per capita than Canada and experience what the tech world is like for people living there. My suggestion is Malaysia since its a tech focused country, safe, most people speak english, and its very far away from Canada.
I think a Scrapyard wars season in a completely foreign country could be extremely interesting to watch, with the competitors limited to a budget of what locals would make in a month. Learning how much people make in other countries, and comparing it to the costs of computer parts, would be very educational.
And maybe another video in the country "I upgraded an elementary school's computer systems!". Its a little corny, but I think Linus's image could really benefit from some real, in person, charity work. I think he, as a person, along with his audience, could really benefit from seeing what the tech world is like in "non-western" countries. It can be a real perspective change.
LTT's 3rd most popular video is "Building a PC CHEAPER in CHINA?! feat. Strange Parts", so clearly the idea of this is popular. (Just don't go back to china again, go somewhere new).

so.. because some ini file contains some wording about subscriptions, you're concluding that win12 might be only subscription based licensing?

have you considered how this would work for the likes of HP and dell? would they now have to ship their system with an OOBE where you give money to microsoft?

IMO this is likely part of M365 as a "fully integrated microsoft experience", allowing the OS to more dynamically toggle features as the subscription is active. (essentially replacing the "upgrade" to enterprise.)

I seriously doubt this would be for the consumer market. Almost certainly to be rolled into the Microsoft 365 Enterprise subscription as a Windows Enterprise license paid annually.

Except that some of her former co-workers mentioned that her story is consistent since she left LMG (specifically the employee who claims he helped her find a new job).  It means this existed prior to it; and it was also done sort of anonymously through glass door as well initially.

LMG is a social media company, and Linus himself makes statements publicly about how great of a company it is to work; if employees feel differently it should actually be aired out publicly if they left the company due to that...otherwise you can perpetuate the stigma of the workplace.

That's the thing, with the leaked audio from the HR talk it did seem like they knew at least about some of the rumors going around.  Legal action, especially when involving sexual harassment can be a major problem.  Her statement, if true, would solidify the accusations of being overworked to the point of making mistakes

A.) Issues like this can destroy otherwise good companies in so many ways.   Everything from devastating legal issues to driving away good workers.
    B.) Human decency.

I bring this issue back up because YouTube in it's infinite wisdom fed me a video that touches on many of the comments raised here about the environment at LMG. How one of the things that is good, can be good, that they portray in their videos can BACKFIRE HARD. Namely the extracurricular activities.

This so much.   Your coworkers are not your friends.  Not necessarily and anything to do with anyone you work with needs to be treated with a degree of professionalism and caution. As a company gets bigger the dynamics this person discusses become more relevant.   Harassment need not be sexual and a hostile environment need not come about due to actual malice.  It can't but it does not have to.

The situations discussed in this video well describe and explain how someone could make an off color off hand remark ... in an environment where 99/100 people are ok with that but 1/100 isn't.   What makes that such a big problem is unlike people you hang with, people depend on their job for food and shelter, and heat.  One cannot as easily leave a job.

What do you mean, exploiting free volunteer work? Since it won't be needed in the long-run and those people get early-access to videos, it's perfectly fine! They're not paid for it and they're acting as QA reviewers for the accuracy, but it's fine that they're completely unpaid. </Sarcasm>

A board game reviewer pulled an entire video and reshoot the whole review, including replaying the game, when they got some rules in the review wrong. That's the standard Linus should be aiming for.
