  1. Thank you both for your responses. It seems like doing anything besides running a secondary cable would be a little out of my budget so I am going to leave it at 1Gb right now and maybe upgrade when the prices come down on the 10Gbps switches.
  2. I would hope to keep it under $200 if possible. But I am OK with going over that if necessary. I am currently doing a whole restructuring of my network so I could make room in the budget.
  3. The cable is only going 100ft so I am good on that front. Can you suggest any switches that would work for me? I would need two of them so as cheap as possible would be good.
  4. I have two Ethernet Switches in my home quite far away with a CAT6A cable running between them. I need to upgrade both switches to accommodate more capacity and so was thinking that I should look into ones that support Link Aggregation. This way I could get more bandwidth between the switches. However, there is no way for me to run a second Ethernet cable beside the existing CAT6A cable. Would it be possible for me to some how use two Ethernet Ports as Aggregates on both switches and then convert to the one cable (As CAT6A can support 10Gbps)? If so what would I need to buy?
  5. don't have any in particular, just wanted to narrow down what I was looking for a bit. Style wise, I don't like glossy plastic and side panel budges.
  6. Title says it all, I am basically looking for the quietest case I can find that doesn't look like donkey. It needs to fit all of the current parts (ATX, slightly larger than reference GTX 780, H100i) and preferably not huge.
  7. Do you know if this mother board has that feature?
  8. How would I make a light that stays on inside the system even when the computer is powered off?
  9. I like that second option you are talking about, what monitors would you suggest? I wouldn't game surround, just on the middle one. The two side ones are for media (youtube, netflix), skype, game map, etc. I also plan on upgrading the 780 next generation.
  10. The title says most of it; I am ready for a monitor upgrade. and have $1000 (it can be slightly more but please not to much) to do it. Here are my current monitors: Left Middle Right. All three of them are VESA mounted, first two (from the left) are mounted using this. The last is mounted with this. Things I would like: - VESA Mountable - G-Sync - 1440p or similar - 2 or more monitors or 1 ultrawide
  11. ok thx, what would u say for a good processor under 200?
  12. I need a low TDP processor (preferably Intel) that will not throttle when being cooled by this: Noctua NH-L9i. It needs to be good for AAA title gaming. It will be paired with a GTX 970.
