    That is...way too long.

I like how I don't have to turn on the heat in the winter, I just start playing a game ?

na man. im on air cooling. I always open the window by my computer in winter. I'm hard enough to gain the extra FPS

@dizmo Try sitting next to a 50 imp gals/60 USG hot water tank (afaik, it's 60C water in it) whilst running my 1700+fury rig under a gaming load...gets very hot...quick. Even when it's -5C outside, I have to crank my window open. I mean my room, even when not gaming is about 5C hotter than any other room...(other rooms are about 17 to 20C whilst mine is about 25C xD)

@Mr.Meerkat That sounds groooossss! Unfortunately the buildings hot water pipes run through the wall in my room. So. It's usually about 40 degrees in here during the winter, and once winter really hits, I can't open the window. It's horrid.

@dizmo I mean the water piping in our house is really weird. As it's a very long piping run from boiler to hot water tank, to save money, the homebuilder decided that all the radiators on the way to the tank would be connected inbetween the input of tank and output of boiler so during the summer, if we turn hot water on (but central heating is off), 1/3rd of the radiators start becoming very hot and our bathroom floor gets hot as well :P (we have underfloor heating in our bathroom!)

Hahah, that sounds like such horrible design. Some people just shouldn't be in their profession ?

@dizmo I mean they saved over 50 metres of piping (probably a lot more) so I'm not going to complain. Makes our house cheaper plus it's not like we're wasting gas or anything as the water would have had to travel to the hot water tank anyway (all of our hot water comes from the hot water tank, not directly from boiler).

As for design, it's your typical boiler in garage (for attached garages) and hot water tank somewhere on the second floor, usually in a cupboard next to the bathroom (like ours). Apart from the odd piping decisions, it's a very "normal" design :P
