  1. Budget (including currency): max 500€ Country: Finland Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly games Other details (currently 1070ti but upgrading to 3080 or amd 6800/6800 xt, upgrading from 1080p, buying on black friday, 1440p ultrawide 144hz): Hi. I'm keeping this short. I have researched a new monitor for a while now and especially the black Friday coming up, I am going to buy one of these monitors: - gigabyte g34wqc (currently 429€) - xiaomi mi curved 34 (currently 449€) - aoc cu34g2x (currently 449-530€) - lenovo g34w-10 (currently 459-499€) 4 different options are giving me hard time to decide which one. I don't really know much bout monitors, so I'm giving the pressure for someone who knows monitors well. Note: I'm getting 100€ off the monitor what I choose top of the black Friday sale, so it will be great deal either way. Thanks

  3. Maby, just maby I can hold my horses for a few years. New products are always exciting.
  4. I think I can wait until ddr5 and then build new one from scratch.
  5. Hmm.. never thought of that, how much greater will the performance be compared to ddr4 in case you know?
  6. Hello fellas. Since those nvidia 3000 series gpus are coming and amd 4000 series, I have been wondering that should I upgrade cpu or gpu or even both. I play with 1080p but don't really know if 1440p is worth the money. I built my first pc year ago and wasn't quite satisfied with it's performance. My cpu is amd 1600X, gpu 1070 ti clocked to 2ghz. I mean now that I have been gaming with this setup for a year now, I'm used to it and could go with it for like 4 years probably. Gpu usage usually are in the 94-99% and cpu 20-40% depending of the game. I'm perfectionist so I may never be satisfied with pc performance but it could always be better. If I'm not upgrading for awhile, which should be my next upgrade cpu or gpu? Since I'm not a professional with this kind of stuff I am here to share my concern. Thanks for advance.
  7. Well now that i think little more, i think it is not worth afterall seeing that comparison video, thanks nerslayer. And yes plutosaurus i think it is more wiser to change cpu and maby the whole system when it is time to upgrade gpu.
  8. I have amd r5 1600x stock clocks and 1070 ti and mobo is b450. Since those new zen2 processors came, i have been thinking them. So the main question is it worth to upgrade to for example r5 3600 or r7 3700x? Or do i just go for 4-5years with 1600x. Thanks
  9. Well thank you. Im trying to find software for my card now.
  10. I have tried removing msi afterburner and rtss. Does asus card have any good softwares?
  11. Display is 144hz and VSync is turned off in every game.
  12. Thank you for your answer. I just checked that it is set to max performance, and sadly no difference.
  13. Hello. Whoever are willing to answer my problem, thank you. So my pc is currently about 5 months old and it has a small but same time very annoying problem. Lets take an example: when i first played some games on my pc, doom and cs go fps would go high as 300. And i know that human eye can't see difference over 60fps. The problem is that, month ago or more all games fps would not go over 99 and most of people that would not matter but me it does. It slows down gameplay and lags it drastically. And every time i re-install nvidia driver, problem goes away, but when i come back in next day that same problem is back, no over 99fps and very annoying lag. I have tried installing older drivers, no help, i have tried tinkering nvidia control panel settings, no help. So i really hope this was enough to someone wiser than me to help me. I will out my specs under this. Thank you. Gpu: 1070 ti Cpu: amd 1600x (not overclocked) Ram: corsair vengeance 3200mhz (could not remember timings etc) Mobo: msi b450 gaming pro carbon ac
