LTT have time, they have the staff - including the lab to do some testing themselves to check if what steve claimed on their investigation is true or not. at this point, can you point on the video about LTT peer reviewing what steve have done on investigating the problem itself using their LAB resource? at this point LTT is more "scripted" media company trying to play it safe with something like asus - as their sponsor for LTX to begin with. even back then they have no proper explanation to the RING and the scandal - just mere mention within a few second of talk about it on WAN show or some video. meanwhile they DO make a proper vid/stream talking about VPN sponsor back then to address it, not for the RING itself ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

more like i didnt really check this place much unless there is a controversy related content made by LTT, not because im waiting for more information. If you really did do your research, the details about age discrimination lawsuit and stuff are hefty enough and the last link i gave you is literally just the latest update which prompt me to check if there is any update on the thread. only checked this thread again after seeing update on the ibm discrimination lawsuit to see if there is any discussion further, and only after that i saw your post. you literally said that after reading only 1 link that "higher ups being rude", this is literally downplaying the issue. you said "ongoing investigation" and "all the info we got rn" - maybe if at that time - you can try to see if you can find more details yourself? i even try to search into google news with "ibm discrimination" and can even find more details easily back from apr even. wow, you are right, there is more info now and back then there is nothing about ibm discrimination details at all.

totally agree with this, literally on the video windows explorer appeared on 4th line on the video and they just ignore it? power user will literally kill the internet search on windows search to begin with as i do on my win10 which fixed the issue to begin with. and you know that DDG and google can help you instantly with this right Linus? you know that you can also open explorer simply by win+e, and you have to take the harder way using windows search just to complain about it? in addition, afaik most power user know where they set their download folder for installer and everything, and its literally easier to find them from your download history on the web browser you are using - if you want to find them to begin with, its like you know, they are just trying to justify how good win11 without telling people about a better solution for win10 woe. is it even considered a tips? more like "complain more" vid at this point i doubt the one who reviewed this video script before finalizing it is a power user themselves.

most ppl here should be able to learn that from a bit of search tbh and im sure ppl here are far more knowledgeable than general public, but dont expect anything from ltt, since this kind of issue is more about going silent just like what happened to RING sponsorship back then.to even mention that pia is no longer owned by londontrustmedia

i HIGHLY doubt ltt will ever address this, even on the RING sponsorship back then they are just gone super silent without even answering my question to them here or on the reddit. /shrug plus at this point - with them not addressing ring back then - ive already considered that ltt will accept any kind of sponsorship anyway no matter what, since they need to pay for their staff :)

that "dont you have phone" argument is so familiar... are you from blizzard? /s at the moment ill just try to put a small and final spotlight to this, since nobody cares and ltt team doesnt care enough to address this issue raised by ppl who watched their vids and arguing any further doesnt feel like it will make ltt team to answer the question anyway. the final nail in the coffin for me is when i saw that tree planting fundraising vid, when they finish it with ring doorbell - it might be unintentional from their side, but for me its an attempt to tie ring doorbell indirectly to something positive and to paint ring with positive light. so who knows what their intention is, but that is what i saw on that video - it might be different for other ppl, so ill just mention it here. in the end, my conclusion is that ltt team doesnt care or dont want to address this just like how blizzard or any other kind of company out there when their fans/user are raising question of "why did they do this" - pretty sure you all have seen what blizzard/nba/riot done so far. its almost 2 month since i raised this question with nick on the reddit and still no reply at all even now. cheers and hf
