I believe it is important that during the times of outlining and appreciating the efforts of high rankings we reflect on why we are folding. We give thanks to those that made it possible and treasure each and every single person that pushed and folded against this invisible enemy.

Coronavirus has claimed over 100,000 lives across the globe, infecting over two million people. This is why we fold, this is the reason we have been brought together. Only in times of such hardship do we see the best and worst of mankind. People from all walks of life doing what they can to help, volunteering, folding, shopping and delivering for their communities, singing, cheering to our key workers. This is the embodiment of humanity, this is how our generation should be remember during this crisis. We are strong, united, resolute. We will not let ourselves be overcome by fear for as long as we have each other. So, go fourth caring with respect, with patience, with tolerance, with kindness in your heart, because it is surely needed in today's world.

    Before we get into the rankings there are a few things I want to mention;

    1. Although I have been the fact of this event I want everyone to take a moment to give thanks to @Metallus97 for his amazing contribution with the FAQ, tech support and help with the datasheet, @j1philli who has been a tremendous help with validating entries on the sheet and finally @leadeater who wrote the script we used for ensuring smooth data collection.

    2. I'd like everyone to head over and donate a few dollars to Jason at EOC, his servers must have taken a beating with all the traffic we have thrown at the guy over the last few weeks or so. You can either use this PayPal link or find the PayPal donation button on the EOC Website on the right. Don't forget to include a note so he knows it came from team LTT, mine said 'With love for LTT, thanks for everything you do.'

    3. I'd like to give a personal thanks to everyone who has been understanding of my own health during this event, it was hastily thrown together which lead to more issues than usually found!

    4. Finally I'd like to ask that you continue to fold, for the benefit of all of us, even if it is in a far more limited capacity moving forward.

It has been an exciting event, despite the darkness that looms over the world currently many of us, including myself have found a little lightness on the event thread, this doesn't have to end, we do have a Folding Community Board in which you can continue the conversation in all its glory! You can find that Here!

I want to give thanks to everyone who has been involved folding for TeamLTT over the last few weeks, no matter if you are folding only a few points a day or millions, no matter if you signed up to the event or not, your hard work and dedication is appreciated! Don't forget that if you talk about folding on twitter use the hastag #TeamLTT and I will be trying to keep an eye on it, so now, after you have read this post and feel the need to go troll PCMR a little, and lets be honest, after the pitiful attempt to challenge us, you will feel the need. We can all be a little more connected!

In first place, we have @Macaw2000 with an impressive 339,946,109 points warned with 5,613 Work units over the 14 days of the event. He utilised mercenaries well to make a final dash for the throne and now he sits comfortably, in the plush luxury smiling upon those that stand below him.

Second place we have the great oppressor, the disgraced king, @Den-Fi, who failed to take by his throne lost during the great crusades of Folding Month 2019. With 296,964,235 Points achieved with a surprising small 1,444 Work Units it has to be said that he certainly had one of the highest P/WU ratios in the event.

Third place we see is occupied by @walderston, who, given just a little more time could have snatched the silver spot from the fallen king. 237,268,117 Points taken with 1,261 Work Units is nothings to bite your thumb at for sure. But he will be left wondering if he can do better next event!

Fourth place is taken by the veteran @miker07 who has once again proved his worth with 196,425,757 points taken through 2,203 Work units. Forth place is nothing to be ashamed with but it will be interesting to see if he expands his forces by the time folding month comes around.

Fifth place finds @ZombieStew content with his first showing in a LTT Folding event, 145,684,152 Points and 2,079 Work units. He will certainly be looking forward to future events!

Sixth place we have another newcomer, @Unilevers, a fine showing that we hope to see again in the future.

Seventh place is @bafo_ah, another newbie shaking up the team with a good showing.

Eighth place is @wi3si, it will be excited to see if they can muster any more force for the future.

Ninth place can be claimed by @Ayren, who only folded for 13 days should be asking did that one day down cosy them too much?

Tenth place is where we leave this today, @GalaxyNetworks is the proud holder of 10th, the gatekeeper, but will they be bettering themselves next time out.

And here you can find the full set of data including the Prize allocations:- Full Folding Data and Ranks!

Now it is time for the prizes!

I was planning to tag each winner but due to the number of prizes and limitation I have recently been made aware of the winning ranks will be listed here and the winners will be tagged in comments to this post. This will ensure all winners get a notification for the tag.

Couldn't decide what to write today, the truth is there's been a big increase of cases in my town today and it's really shook me, a guy who lives not far from me passed away from the virus too. Just gotta keep our heads down and fold on I guess.

Today we can see that TeamLTT have normalised our production, managing 4.2-4.4 billion points per day, that, my friends, is simply beautiful. The best part, it is only possibly because every one of us have turned our rigs on and get stuck in!

PSA, if you are running too hot you can always take off the side panel! Also there is an error with a limited number of users but this will be corrected by @leadeater when he is available

I know that this is a lot of fun for us all but I just want to remind everyone why we are here, folding. According to this webpage, in the world we have 932,214 cases of COVID-19, with 46,826 deaths. These numbers alone are scary, but then when you add into it the fact of in paces places around the world COVID is only just setting in. I was once asked who I folded for, and I said it was my grandfathers who passed from various forms of cancers. But the truth is I fold for every person on this planet. I fold for the grandchildren who shouldn't have to lose relations as soon. I fold for people who suffer with a wide range of conditions every day. I fold because I hope that one day, I will make a difference. Most probably, almost everyone I make a difference too I will never meet. But, that, right there, is humanity.

Today I ask, for everyone to take 10 mins away from their phones, computers, TVs, and just live. Prayer, meditation, go for a walk, call your grandparents, read to your kid. Whatever you like to do. Because the truth is, we don't know how long we have left, whether that be from COVID or something else.

Ladles and gentlespoons, four days down, ten days to go, it seems like many people have been clambering to up their production, but how much of a difference is this likely to make, only time will tell!

Todays PSA is to remind you all to check your temps and dust out your system as required!

Today's drink is, Bulleit Bourbon and Pepsi max

The great team of LTT continues to steam ahead, blowing all previous records out of the water! It was once said that when the call to action came in the enthusiast community would be too selfish to mobilise in great numbers, well here we are! Standing tall, proud, unified! We have dedicated so many resources, so much time, and power. We throw ourselves into the task, babysitting our devices, reading up ways to maximise our production, supporting each other! Thank you to every single one of you who has joined the fight against COVID-19, and I hope to see you hang around the folding team after all this is over. All are welcome here at team LTT!

Look at this amazing Video from EOC that shows our climb up the ranks, and I believe it would be amazing to see this climb continue.

In first place the king @Den-Fi sits on his throne, holding onto the crown with an amazing 64.49 million points, he id really pulling ahead and now we find ourselves asking, can he be conquered. Second place is occupied by @ZombieStew, but with 37.85 million points I'm sure he has come to terms with the fact that he won't be sitting on any thrones by the end of this. @miker07 takes third place with 36.95 million points, he could seriously be looking to take the number two spot if he can only find himself a little more grunt to throw at the problem. With a wide gap opening up behind him he must be feeling pretty secure as @Xoggy comes in fourth with 25.4 million points, the X man doesn't have the power needed to advance further by the looks of it and there are a few further down the table that could be a challenge to him over the coming days. Fifth place is taken up by @n0xlf, it looks like they have had a tough day folding only bagging 3.4m points bringing his total up to 23.5 million, if he is wanting to keep that spot there needs to be more power thrown at the problem! @Fapasaurus is in 6th with 19.2m points, but with a production of 4.8m he could prove to be a challenger for the ahead of him if he plays the cards rights. Sitting 1.9m points behind him we find @BlackAda with 17.3m points. @Favebook finding himself in in 8th in such a large competition goes to show some of the pedigree we have here in the ranks, but, as he will know quite well, everything can change during the event. With 16.8m points he is in a precarious place, as not far behind we have @Unilevers who has already been promoted from the gatekeeper spot with 16.5m. The new man of the gate of the top 10 is @Ayren, with 15.9m it can be said that they are pulling theor weight to keep that place in the rankings for sure! 11th place we have @LAR_Systems who has fallen out of grace with the folding gods and has fallen down the stack, holding on with 15.6m it's all to place for to squeeze into the top 10! @Yabdat, another well seasoned folder is sitting in 12th place with a comfortable 15.5m, he will almost certainly be looking at these numbers closely to see if theres an advantage to be had. But, it will be important for him to cast his eyes to his rear as we have @HybridTI outpacing him and only a divide of 200k points separate the two folders. But the predator that is @Macaw2000 is firing on all cylinders, having both of them in their sights by outproducing then with a total of 15.2 million points so far! And in 15th place we have @catawalks, the walker of cats, the purveyor of felines, holding into the last of the top 15 spots with 15.1m points.

Looking down the stack we do have some more interesting guys popping up, like @BlueSpartan, who with a production of 2.5m points in the last day could truly be planning to make a splash. @cyberguy91, @abakus3k and @madarus are also ones to watch for sure in the coming days!

As you can see it all so very exited here. With the top spots being passed back and forth as people try their bast to force more production out of their machine, but, be cautious, because if you push it too far you may drop WUs and although this early in the game it may not be world-ending. I'm sure you'd end up with a little egg on your face regardless!

Here you are folks, day three and it seems some of our folders have hit their stride, The king is looking mighty comfortable right about now... Maybe... Too comfortable...

First comes the PSA the event has now switched over to BST, meaning updates should be an hour earlier than before! This dataset covers 0000GMT-0000BST(GMT+1) meaning that it covers 23 hours of folding. As of right now the participation requirements are NOT changing, this is due to the fact that most people who are trying to fold are managing to get one WU per day. We will continue to monitor the situation and may adjust accordingly.

Today's drink is a spiced Gin and Tonic!

The heroes of LTT are steaming ahead at full bore, pushing their rigs, and their power meters to the max. It is a beautiful sight to behold, thousands of people all working together on the same potentially world saving project. As we push harder, and the unending march of scientific progress increases pace, we can stand by, with pride, that we, together with all other teams are working on a solution. For only in times of strife do we see the best of humanity. If any one of us can take something away from these dark and scary times, let it be that, despite the fear, and despite the isolation, kindness has grown. The warming light of love has never beamed brighter than in these hard times.

In first we have The king, @Den-Fi with 44.83 million points, he seems to be picking up the pace with his production looking nice over the last 23 hours, the question stands, will it be enough to combat the number of people who has rallied the troops of cloud computing to their cause, only time will tell. In second place we have the newcomer, the challenger, @ZombieStew, but with only 29.38 million points, it has yet to be seen is the crown can be dethroned by the rebel. In third place we have a well known face around these parts, @miker07 is looking more than comfortable, with 28.94 million points, he is looking ahead. Going from his production it seems as if the veteran is looking to take the silver spot. Forth place is held by @n0xlf with 20.1 million points, he is looking nice and comfortable in that spot, his production is enough to keep him afloat if all stays well, but for anyone who has followed this event before, anything can happen in the next two weeks. Fifth place is occupied by @Xoggy, with 19.7 million points he has a good 5 million points lead over @Fapasaurus, who is proving his is not only good with his hands, but also with his computers. 7th place is taken by @BlackAda with 13.3 million points, the new face is looking pretty fly! 8th place has our very own @Favebook, A well known guy with high aspirations, with 12.8m points and a decent production to match, it will be interesting to see if he has anything left in his tank to push even higher. Looking to his rear we have @Yabdat, who appears to have had some issues bagging only 3.4 million points this update bringing his total to 11.9m. @Unilevers finds himself the gatekeeper of the top 10, with 11.7m points, hot on his heels is @LAR_Systems with 11.4 million points he will be trying his best to push the rigs under his control to see if he can take 10th from the gatekeeper. 12th place is taken by @catawalks with 11.1 million, @HybridTI is not too far behind with 10.7 million, but lacking in the production needed to overtake for the time being. 14th place is taken by @ykdave, with 10.4m points he will be looking into his rear-view mirror in fear as the gap is so slim with the @leadeater CPU army only 100k behind.

We have seen some serious power thrown around here, the king is chomping at the bit thinking about another golden position to tell his grandchildren about some day, Unilevers has the production needed to take them to greater heights, but will it all fizzle out? Looking down the stack we see some power finally being brought online, @Dalmahr, @babbler, @Drhomie, @ericf are just some of the interesting ones to watch over the coming days.

Well guys, my oh my has it been a month of pure excitement and an unexpected plot twist, the king has been dethroned!!!

But before we get into it I just want to say a few things, first and foremost, I want to thank the guys who have been helping behind the scenes, @Gorgon for his exceptional data handling and filling in for blog posts, @palespartan for being my rival giving a helping hand with data validation, prize allocation and a blog post or two and @Imbellis for validation and giving us a secondary source of point data. You guys really have been lifesavers this event and without you I honestly don't think the event would have ran at all as I would have needed to throw in the towel with all the hospital trips.

I want to thank every one of who participated, no matter if you made 3 points(yes, somehow that was a thing, I even validated it myself) or if you made over 800m *cough* @Yggdrasil128 *cough*, you really are all beautiful, amazing people. I also want to give a special thanks to you all for standing by me despite all the hospital trips and unavailability, I really appreciated all the warm messages I received wishing my partner good health, it will surly be needed over the coming months and possibly years.

Competition was stiff this year, with not only the highest number of sign ups for any folding event here on the forum but also some of the most impressive folding I've ever seen, period. You guys have rocked it hard and you should all be proud for what we accomplished. 17,933,433,473 points over the course of the event and moving from 10th place to 8th, but the science is not over and the folding must continue.

Roughly, if team LTT was measured on the top500 list of supercomputers we would have found ourselves somewhere around 70-75th, just think about that for a moment...

Please can all make sure we donate a few dollars to Jason over at EOC, his servers must have taken a beating with all the traffic we have thrown at the guy over the last month or so. You can either use this PayPal link or find the PayPal donation button on the EOC Website on the right. Don't forget to include a note thanking him so he knows its from team LTT.

    List of the dead

It is a sad time when we see the demise of our hardware, even sadder when that hardware holding out a few more days or weeks would have secured up a better position.

Rest In Piece Valiant hardware, there is a special place in silicon heaven(Red Dwarf Reference right there) for you, least we forget.

And now, without further delay, here are the final, verified ranks and prize winners.

In first place we have @Yggdrasil128, with 886,386,763 points over the course of the event. Mr. Drasil, now crowned the new king of folding for team LTT, really surprised us all, laying low for much of the event before making a dash to the top with his mercenary armies rented folding power, we don't mind how you get your points as long as you get them under your name. You truly deserve to sit in this spot, your prize os to have the bragging rights for the next 11 months, All Hail The King of Folding, 2019!

In second place we have the dethroned kind, @Den-Fi with 660,756,810, you really pushed hard towards the end of the month, but with some sandbagging at the start it has to be asked if you could have taken the crown, that is something we will never know. But, hear this, there is no shame here, for we are all winners when it comes to folding, as we fold, FOR SCIENCE!

In third place we have @Gorgon with 520,575,343 an impressive number, our very own Gorgon showing that we are all in it full tilt, even if we are consumed by crashing google sheets and failing giant IF statements. He was up there right from the start and really took the fight to the dethroned king, a real man of the people.

In 4th place we have @miker07 with 438,025,030, a fine effort from the folding month veteran.

in 5th place we have @catawalks with 415,533,572, if only he pushed that little more he could have taken 4th.

    6. @_Rlocke with 221,628,810.

    7. @JB25304 with 212,774,860.

    8. @leadeater with 202,564,470.

    9. @Favebook with 191,299,492.

    10. @GOTSpectrum with 186,742,539.

If you don't see your name on the list above you either did not sign up for this event or you did not meet the minimum requirements. All event badges will be handed out without any intervention needed from you guys, PLEASE DO NOT message me or the team about event badges.

I really just want to thank you all again for taking part in the event, you guys have really made it special, every single one of you!

And, with that said, it's time to finally wrap up the folding month for 2019, I can't wait to see you all taking part in the future folding events like the intra-forum friendly in Febuary, the summer folding sprint and yes, next years folding month.

EDIT: In all the excitement, I forgot to add my two little announcements...

The first is, the billion point badge is now here!

1 billion points, Diamond Badge - 'When you have contributed more than 1 Billion points, Tales of your folding adventures will be whispered through the ages, You are now mythical.'

The second is that, It has been decided that new leadership for the folding team could reinvigorate the team, well I can tell you that I have accepted to take over the leadership role from @Whiskers!

    This is Spectrum signing off,

    Happy Folding,

    Spec.
