  1. This is only happening during youtube playback it seems not on netflix or vlc. But on youtube i seem to be getting an ring/beep every 1-10 seconds that lasts 1-2 seconds. This has only started today. any advice would be appreciated.
  2. I posted about my gpu previously about 2 weeks ago and had the rgb pointed out to me now i need to know which way to attach a 4 pin device in a normal mount like it is is it 12v G R B or B R G 12V I assume its pretty bad if i were to mix them up thank you
  3. If the header on the gpu is 12v will i need to adapt it down to use 5v led's? using something like this.
  4. I have a few ways of wiring up what i want to do if this is accurate it means i have the option for some more control cheers dude.
  5. So i get an rgb hub and connect it to what like i say i don't think my mobo has an rgb header which is why i'm looking at the connections on my gpu. I don't intend to sound rude but if they are proprietary and i can't use them i don't think i can do anything too exciting.
  6. i think this is the card i have https://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/ROG-STRIX-RTX2080TI-O11G-GAMING/#:~:text=The%20ROG%20Strix%20GeForce%20RTX%E2%84%A2%202080Ti%20teams%20up,perfection%20keeps%20the%20spotlight%20squarely%20on%20Turing%E2%84%A2%27s%20performance. what i would like to know is more info about the fan connect II thing i have a reasonably old board and it does not appear to have any rgb headers. The gpu clearly has at least one for its own lights so what i would like to know is what they are for/what they do i can see what is i think is a 5 pin connection in use by the gpu at present (if i need to buy a splitter for this thats fine) 3 pin connection also in use by the gpu and 3 4 pins not currently in use ideally i'd like to be able to use the gpu's connections for some rgbs since my board doesn't have any. so if i can could someone please explain how i could go about that, i'm not thinking much rbg like all my fans maybe a strip or two. thank you.
  7. Nothing like that its just a new noise and i don't really like it.
  8. So after getting my head inside my case and listening, i believe it to be my power supply thats making the noise. On a scale of 1 to replace immediately how bad is that?
  9. Well the S.M.A.R.T values came back all green but i'll try running a more in depth diagnostic. Assuming it finds nothing what can i do next?
  10. I have an ssd for booting off and 2 mechanical drives they're about 4 and a half years old
  11. i figured its a drive or a fan starting to die on me. Just wonder if there is any easy ish ways to determine what the problem component is? besides getting my ear to everything and such. Thank you
  12. I've been using gpu tweak II for my Oc stuff don't really want to start using another piece of software. Might get some issues with two pieces of software trying to adjust my gpu.
  13. Nah I just want to monitor temperatures, gpu usage vram usage. Maybe even some cpu stuff. It was just a nice thing to be able glance over at my phone instead of having to tab out.
  14. Recently switched from team red to team green and very much appreciated amd link. Am looking for a similar app/software to use with my new Nvidia gpu. If anybody know of any alternatives ideally with an app for my phone that'd much appreciated. Thank you
