Uhm, yasee, I can't do that. I threw the original battery away, and I can't/dont want to open it because 1) its basically sealed shut, and 2) i dont want to do any damage to it. I don't really know that much about replacing cells or anything either I am of zero help to this problem right now Also, when I looked at the battery after it melted, the cells werent the issue. The laptop has these metal strips where it touches the barrery and they get really hot, so they melted through the casing, and the sorta chip thingy (dunno what it is) on the inside got scorched and started melting as well.
