  1. I'd not swap between the same manufacturer PSUs, only perhaps if the specs specify that the cable is compatible for given model.
  2. Never really watched his show, but the guy is a legend:

  3. @starsmine the PSU prices don't vary so much as other parts though. for $200€ you'd get a perfect PSU. In the ball park of GPUs or CPUs it's not so much of a difference between a "decent" and a "perfect" one. I'd rather spend 100€ more on PSU than CPU that anyway will get replaced in 2-3 years probably. Also ATX specs don't really matter SO much in performance/reliability of a PSU.
  4. Deepcool E-Shield - it was around 35€ on sale and functionally I don't miss anything. With RAM it's quite simple - it either works or not.
  5. Cheap cases are are not as bad as to be swapped out for most reasons. I've got a 40€ case for several years already, second build in it iirc, not missing anything.
  6. CPU, graphics card, RAM, case I guess we are not going to agree though... Surely not PSU and MoBo. Storge is so and so, as is cooler.
  7. I guess I got unlucky and my 7800XT seems not to OC as well. Also can't really use MSI Afterburner to OC, but yeah, otherwise it's just a matter of preference.
  8. Just wondering what you mean by that? OCed RTX 4070 is almost as fast as RX 7800 XT @default, in my experience first hand. Core @+200Mhz and VRAM @+800Mhz. But I do agree RX 7800 at similar or lower price is at least as good.
  9. Scam? yes! Used RTX 3070 is about 250€ here on aftermarket. I'd even say about 99% a scam. Or it's a stolen PC, sold by a drug addict.
  10. Quite equal cards in most aspects. I just sold my RTX 4070 for 7800 XT. Reasons are not really practical, should be said. Only thing is that OC was a tad easier on 4070. But I'm not very worried, 7800XT is a bit faster on rasterization, 4070 is faster with ray tracing. The differences in performance are surprisingly minimal considering they are made by different chipmakers.
  11. Marginal, yet the factory warranty should be a tad longer. I'd sleep better knowing it has a tad longer lifespan also.
  12. Yeah, for secondary storage, I guess I'd agree.
  13. In this case where both M.2 NVMe and SATA SSDs are usable I'd surely go for NVMe. Specially if the prices are quite close. Can't practically get any better than Samsung 990 Pro. Well, technically there probably are faster drives in some aspects than 990 Pro, but still it's as fast as any everyday user would need. For secondary storage it's overkill, but if ever need to swap this to primary storage it'll be very decent.
  14. Considering the goal being lower temps and better contact between IHS and the cooler, then sure AM5 one hasn't got much point, but considering the reduction of thermal paste drippage it still performs good, I believe as good as the smaller frame pointed out by OP. Has at least as much function as LED show in some cases, perhaps even more, as it has a physical function rather than aesthetical.
  15. I think the good old AM5 secure frame like this is a bit better: https://www.thermalright.com/product/am5-secure-frame-red/ Though have to swap out all of the mounting mechanism. More a matter of preference than performance though.
  16. In no particular order: Morrowind Archolos Gothic 2, 1 Wolfenstein Enemy Territory Witcher 3, 2, 1

    32" monitor

Therefore being blind has some performance advantages!

    32" monitor

There aren't many nice 32" 1440p OLED-s on the market. And for 32" I'd recommend OLED (for some reason or another). This 4K one being probably one of the best: https://www.msi.com/Monitor/MPG-321URX-QD-OLED
  19. Then one like this should do? Amazon Or Any of those
  20. The monitor should come with one. Or you need exactly 0.5m ? Also - nice choice of monitor.
  21. Finally Youtube added the scrollbar to "shorts" to skip unwanted content.

Begs a question - why was it not there earlier? Or was it?

    1. da na

      da na

Wait, there are Shorts that are wanted content?

  22. If lucky you could get RX 7800 XT for similar price. Used market or aftermarket being the target... I was lucky to get my 7800 XT for 440€ and brand new, except direct warranty. Selling my RTX 4070 now for 470€ but I assume most likely in another EU region...
