  1. 3DMark Unigine Superposition Unigine Heaven Furmark And that's basically it. So no games.
  2. Thermalright coolers are usually more effective and cheaper. At least in USA. Something like: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/hYxRsY/thermalright-peerless-assassin-120-se-6617-cfm-cpu-cooler-pa120-se-d3
  3. It's better, but as mentioned CPU, MoBo and potentially RAM need swapping. And Zen 5 is on the horizon, perhaps 14700F will do till then. Zen 5 is supposedly a quite a big leap even over current X3D.
  4. though there is no 12300F, but 12400F? but still the same - much more cores, higher frequency and general performance is quite different (14700F).
  5. 12300F vs 14700F is quite a big difference. Is it worth the price? If you have the budget for it, then yes.
  6. Should be enough by wattage, and quality.
  7. Project Farm channel does quite interesting tests, like for power banks: Anker 737? INIU B61? Different pluses.
  8. i7 13700F real turbo power consumptions might exceed 200W - https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/230491/intel-core-i713700f-processor-30m-cache-up-to-5-20-ghz/specifications.html RTX 3070 also might exceed 200W - https://www.igorslab.de/en/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3070-founders-edition-in-test-ampere-can-also-economic-and-cuddly-small/12/ Other parts consume a bit too. I'd buy a decent PSU before other upgrades. The TDP or 65W or 125W is meant without turbo clocks, which are usually enabled. So yeah.
  9. For stress testing OCCT is quite good in many aspects. Not really for diagnosing motherboard problems specifically though.
  10. Perhaps try the SSD in another slot or in another PC. Though seems it's gone bad.
  11. Priciest PC component I've ever bought. But it's good. Have to live off noodles for a few months I think. Just to recuperate.
  12. I don't know if it's worth it for 12100, but a contact frame is generally a good idea for LGA1700 CPUs https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/thermalright-lga1700-bcf-contact-frame Cots under $10 is cheaper stores.
  13. I assume you're using the original cable? Still worth testing with another DP cable, at least cheapest option.
  14. What's the highest refresh rate available in settings?
  15. It might be generally not be able to use 4 sticks. There are a few topics searchable in google about it, for one: https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/13nk4of/2_vs_4_sticks_of_ram_and_clock_speeds_on_7950x/ Or it just might need tweaking, don't ask me I'm not or Zen 4. But yeah, in google is very common 4 stix problem: 7950x four sticks RAM
  16. Perhaps https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/Gm88TW/samsung-odyssey-g70b-320-3840-x-2160-144-hz-monitor-ls32bg702enxgo or https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/GzWzK8/gigabyte-m28u-280-3840x2160-144-hz-monitor-m28u-sa?history_days=730 First one is 32" second one 28". Both have IPS panels.

    Budget Monitor

Far above the 100£ budget, still its at least IPS - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/QpDQzy/aoc-24g2spaebk-238-1920-x-1080-165-hz-monitor-24g2spaebk
  18. Tempted to open the LG package tomorrow and see for myself how good WOLED really is but then it would potentially be more difficult to return...
  19. Right, somehow forgot that I don't use Nvidia card now.
  20. Yeah, a bit mild difference, but all around. But not G-sync compatible like mentioned.
  21. Which would be a better option? Similar price points, Dell being 60€ more. Probably going to return LG anyway and wait for Dell. Just wondering.
  22. Yeah, no Dacia in these choices imo. All modern boards, more like Volvo, BMW, Mecedes or Chevrolet. In most cases it's just about features you really need.
