  1. A tad of a performance blocker indeed the 6700K. But as a temporary CPU, can play most games decently.
  2. It's faster than RX 7800 XT, in almost every scenario: Can't really think of many pros of 7800 XT over the 4070 Ti
  3. No, the 7900 XTX needs PCI-e power connectors, not even 16-pin 12VHPWR connector. And the MSI PSU has 6 of the PCI-e power connectors.

  7. I guess I agree that the 34 esports if already owned should not be swapped probably. That's a good cooler, but TDP means not much when comparing different cooler manufacturers rating.
  8. @podkall the "X watts TDP" is up to the manufacturer to advertise, that number doesn't necessarily mean anything. Like Intel "125W" CPUs and so on. TDP means rarely much these days. 14500 is "65w" TDP.
  9. Well it's one of the most efficient, especially considering the lower noise at top cooling performance. But I guess there are different reviews of same coolers giving quite different results. I'm not a fan Noctua at all though, but it's one of the best anyway. Also I do agree that 34 eSports by Arctic does not perform so much worse that there would be much point swapping it out...
  10. Ah, right Thermalright are mostly cheap in US I believe. In Europe it much depends on region. NH-D15 for around 80€ is a good deal considering it's usual price. But is so pricey cooler necessary for 14500, probably not.
  11. The suggested Thermalright coolers are about 2-3 times cheaper than the NH-D15, yet perform quite similarly. Just sayin...

I have 14600K that consumes ~220W (Reported in Core Temp) and a Liquid Freezer AIO, and that reaches 90C+ in 5 minutes (OCCT full load), so finding a air cooler that would do the same is near impossible, but best options are Thermalright latest dual-towers. Or if budget is in excess of $100+ then some Noctua NH-D15. But the OCCT full load does not represent gaming scenario in any aspect. In games max temp is about 20C lower.

  15. There really aren't many decent TN panel 24" high refresh-rate monitors out there I think (or perhaps I'm just not informed). Except ultra high refresh rate ones, like Asus PG248QP 540Hz one and some others. Those don't fit into your budget. IPS is the most decent all-around panel type at lower price range I think. The glow in the dark is not absent on TN afaik either in dark environment and dark scenes combined. And you could get a half decent 24" IPS for half the budget.
