  1. Lol. So if any ever really looked into GeForce now and after reading about it it seemed like a godsend. Come to find out neither of the games I want to play are in it though been reading about release of the new nvidia gpus and and cpus but that seems way too far off. Typical tech buyer conundrum, wait for the next best thing when there is always the next best thing or just go for it now.
  2. I already have the monitor. My old build just crapped out on me in september last year and I ended up getting a macbook pro for work and school instead. Obviously the mac can't handle these games very well despite being spec'd out so I just wanted to get something fro gaming on the side. I'm getting bored out of my mind with quarantine and i just want something to play on. I tried a nintendo switch but it just wasnt for me =/
  3. Hi everyone, So I wanted to ask for y'alls help with a budget pc gaming build. Every time I go on pcpartpicker I just always end up going for the high tier stuff for whatever reason. Any recommendations for a build that would be to play games like Civ6, Overwatch and in the near future Overwatch2 on a 34 inch LG ultrawide monitor 3440x1440. I'm not trying to go for competitive or anything but I just want something to run these games at high settings at 60 fps and not crash. Budget would be somewhere between $500-600 Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
  4. Thanks for the info on the mobo! any other suggestion for mobos? Ill look into those SSDs for sure. and yeah i like the design, its so clean! Previously had nzxt phantom 530 which was way too big lol
  5. damn two people against the mobo. I had no idea it had those issues. I figured msi would be a good try considering the asus mobo i had before seems to be the culprit behind my pc failing.. 500GB SSD for the main stuff and regular hdd for the rest. Would love to have a bigger ssd but $$$
  6. Long story short, bought an iMac after being pc masterrace for a long time, love it but considering getting rid of it to build a pc instead and buy some sweet camera lenses. Would like some advice on the build I'm considering to compete with the iMac. pc specs: cpu - ryzen 3900x cpu cooler - corsair h100 i pro rgb (have a brand new one at home) mobo - msi mpg x570 gaming edge wifi memory - g.skill ripjaws v series 16 gb (2x8) ddr4-3200 (would add an extra 16gb of the same ram from previous build for a total of 32Gb) storage - samsung 970 evo plus 500GB M.2 NVME SSD gpu - Gigabyte RTX 2070 super 8GB windforce oc 3x case - nzxt 510i atx psu - corsair rm(2019) 750 w 80+ gold montior - lg uc80-b ultrawide (already owned) iMac 2019 27in specs: cpu- intel i9 gpu - radon pro 580x ram- 40 gb storage - 512 GB use: some light gaming like overwatch and primarily work station and photo editing/light video editing thoughts?? help appreciated thank you!
  7. Thanks for the info. I just got my RMA approved so I’ll be sending them back the cooler. Let’s see how it goes ...
  8. Just called and checked and just went over the time frame this past July 3 =/
  9. AIO is 3 years old like the rest of the build so I doubt it would still be under warranty.
  10. Nope cpu hasn't been touched at all except for placing it in the mobo and reapplying thermal paste. No delidding. Just touched it right now and i can feel water running through both tubes. I wouldn't know what to compare it to though to see if what I feel is adequate.
  11. Unfortunately no stock air cooler came with the cpu. Idk if I would even want to start spending money buying new parts just to figure out the issue...
  12. Yup, reinstalled windows twice and even reverted to previous build just in case. would I even be able to do anything warranty related considering I bought the mobo in 2016? If I could get it working again I would just give it to my parents since their 10 year old pc just died out as well lol.
  13. yeah like i said, I've done everything. Made sure bios is updated to latest version. checked voltage and changed it a few times but still nothing. restored to default as well. Might be a faulty mobo? cant be psu right? otherwise I would have to replace that as well. But fan is running well on psu so it seems to be okay...
  14. Yeah I've done everything to address the issue. Here's the link for the troubleshooting post on my cpu Oddly enough gpu never goes above 50 degrees. It has a corsair aio attached as well.
