I got re-interested in MC because of that youtube guy that 9 year olds like. I noticed in a recent video pewds and jack both started drawing d**ks on things. I recall that is what happened last time I stopped playing MC. I could totally get back into MC until giant genitals start appearing on the horizon. Drawing d**ks is a sign that creativity has run its full course.

right now i see a software license as like a ticket at a fair ground. You pay once and you get to go around the haunted house over and over again until you leave. You cannot go and sell your ticket to your neighbour even though you could have gone for more rides. I would like to see more liberty to the games market. I am not a stake holder. I am not a IP holder. I am also not an investor. The industry right now is being realistic in making sure their investors get their money. ideologically, it conflicts and brings up some hypocrisies with my understanding of free markets, so i am internally conflcited on this issue.

I think I can do more networking stuff out of the box on linux than with windows. Linux does everything better except AAA title games.

CPUs perform mathematical problems. Some problems can be split up into workloads that can be run in parrallel and some cannot. Multicore CPUs are the answer to workloads that can be run in parrallel. I hope that helps.

possibly. When I had a core2duo I used memory that was a higher frequency than my motherboard supported.

You can do interesting things with networking and storage without additional software.
If drivers are open source then hardware installation is actually easier.

In the month of September, it's around 2,000 to 13,000 people on PC. For PS4, it's around 2,000 to 9,000 people.

he totally wants that! what you need to do is find out how much he spent on his current rig. Show him the raw manufacturer numbers (cores, cpu freq, and SSD speed). If he can spend what he spent 10 years ago and get twice the computer, he will think you are the most amazingly talented person on earth. Just make sure it works otherwise it's oscar grouch for you.

Played a few months ago. Still could find a few conquest maps, no one really playing anything beyond that. If you can find a game, it's pretty fun though. 

Not really, from my experience with the playerbase on ps4, there's next to no-one playing anymore. Idk if its different on PC

get a 3700x instead of the 3800x, and you don't need a pci-e 4.0 nvme SSD for just gaming.
