  1. I have a Acer Travelmate 4200, T2250 @1.73Ghz, 4gbRAM, Win7 32bit All i want to do is play vanilla WoW(yes, even at 800x600) and watch videos, I am thinking about either downgrading back to XP, or switching to linux. I can play fine about 60% of the time, but 40% its like a slideshow What would be best in my situation? Can i run a 2006 version of WoW on linux? This is what i currently adjusted for settings/attempted for max performance, -switched to performance mode in windows -Max Virtual memory -cool environment -limit online traffic to WoW.exe only -I have tried readyBoost and running WoW from 8gb USB drive(USB 2.0 ports), but I did not notice any difference in sudden fps drops -run from clean install -Ive noticed "rundll32.exe" taking up a bunch of CPU randomly in background, even after clean install, I assume this is hardware related Any help is appreciated. I am willing to learn linux if need be.
