So I made the stupidest, most shameful mistake I can think of in the world of AIOs. First build by the way. Decided on the Corsair H100i RGB Platinum SE all in one liquid cooler for my 3700x. I do not know what possessed me to think I had to unscrew the copper heatsink plate to change out the Intel bracket for the AMD bracket, but I did it (should have read the instructions, I know). There is 8 screws, after unscrewing 4, liquid began to appear. Not a lot, just a couple little drops in total of this whole ordeal. I immediately screwed the screws back in, but now there appears to still be a little bit of liquid in the crevice between the copper and plastic (attached image), and if I shake the pump it will drip out. Fast forward to next day afternoon, that side of the pump sat upside down overnight, no liquid came out, and shaking it now doesn't show as much liquid, and it doesn't drip, just barely visible.
My question is probably obvious, do I have anything to worry about? I am knowledgeable with computer hardware, just not the realm of liquid cooling, and don't want to risk my whole system. A friend told me I should just RMA it and say that it leaks, but if I can save time and hassle by asking here, I figured it worth a shot. Thank you!
